To reinforce faculty competence and ensure the dissemination of newly acquired knowledge, the Office of the Assistant Campus Director for Academic Affairs (OACDAA) spearheaded The Reintegration Plan: A Conduct of Re-Echo Seminars for the Faculty of Negros Oriental State University–Guihulngan Campus on October 1, 2025, at the campus library.
The seminar primarily focused on syllabus construction, equipping participants with strategies to design effective course syllabi suited for their respective fields.
A breakout session followed, which featured varied topics such as Storytelling and Creative Writing, Visual Arts and Traditional Painting, Visual Storytelling, highlights from the PAFTE Convention, Systems Thinking Service Culture, and Certification–Accreditation Integration.
“The teacher is not just for classroom teaching. [Katong mga] topics are more on additional inputs for information and of course for awareness,” said Dr. Von Bruun M. Pelletero in an interview, emphasizing the program’s purpose and intended outcomes.
He also stressed the responsibility of trained faculty members and to cascade their learnings. “It [is] our duty and responsibility if you are a faculty na ni-undergo ug training na imo[ha] gyud nang i-re-echo,” he added.
Through initiatives like this, NORSU-G continues to empower its educators and uphold its vision of becoming a globally recognized state university.
