Alpha Phi Omega Guiuan Alumni Association and Alpha Phi Omega - Omicron Zeta Chapter #363 joined together for their annual partnership with Ponferrada Polymedic Hospital, Inc. (PPHI) and Philippine Red Cross for the 1𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐏𝐇𝐈 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 2026, held on February 10, 2026 at the 2nd Flr., PPHI Bldg., Brgy. Cantahay, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

We are thankful to all partner organizations, uniformed personnel, and private individuals who participated and donated, resulting in a total of 𝟓𝟕 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱.

The angel of death has once again visited the house of Alpha Phi Omega. 🕊️

With profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of our beloved Brother, 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 "𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤" 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐨 ("𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓷", 𝓜𝓾 '62), whose life was deeply anchored in Leadership, strengthened by genuine Friendship, and fulfilled through selfless Service.

He was a pillar of brotherhood having organized two APO chapters: 𝑨𝒍𝒑𝒉𝒂 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒂 & 𝑨𝒍𝒑𝒉𝒂 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒂, whose vision and dedication helped build a chapter grounded in purpose and unity. Beyond the walls of the university, he continued to answer the call of service as one of the organizers of 𝑨𝑷𝑶 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒖𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒏𝒊 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, extending the values of our fraternity far beyond his years as an active member.

His legacy is not measured by titles alone, but by the lives he touched, the brothers he inspired, and the service he rendered without hesitation.

Though he has gone beyond our sight, his spirit lives on in our shared memories, our continued service, and the unbroken bond of brotherhood we hold dear.

Once a Brother of Alpha Phi Omega, always a Brother. Rest in eternal peace. Your service is complete, and your memory will forever remain in our hearts. 🕊️💛

𝓐 𝓒𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓾𝓻𝔂 𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓒𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓭! 💙💛

The 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐚𝐧, organized by Alpha Phi Omega Guiuan Alumni Association and Alpha Phi Omega - Omicron Zeta Chapter #363, was successfully conducted last December 16, 2025, bringing together brotherhood, service, and fellowship in one meaningful day.

From the Christmas Tree Lighting at Guiuan Town Plaza, motorcade around Guiuan, to the fellowship night at Oje's Place by the Sea, Brgy. Tangay, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, the event truly embodied 100 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. Special thanks to Hon. Mayor Annaliza P. Gonzales-Kwan and Guiuan Municipal Police Station Guiuan Mps thru PCPT BRIAN JULIUS O ABELLAR for the support of this undertaking.

This momentous celebration brought together brothers and sisters from different chapters: Alpha Delta, Lambda Phi, Mu Beta, Zeta Epsilon, Alpha Omicron, Epsilon Omega, Mu Gamma, Theta Zeta, Xi Zeta, and Omicron Zeta, with the oldest attendees coming from Batch ’76B.

Grateful to everyone who made this milestone celebration memorable. Here’s to continuing the legacy of leadership, friendship, and service for the years to come! 🤝✨

In line with the celebration of Alpha Phi Omega’s Centennial Year, the 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 alongside Alpha Phi Omega - Omicron Zeta Chapter #363 successfully conducted APO Handog Tsinelas 2025 on Sunday, December 14, at Surok Elementary School, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

The outreach activity aimed to bring joy and support to elementary pupils through a day filled with fun, games, and meaningful interaction. The children actively participated in various games and activities, creating an atmosphere of excitement and laughter throughout the program. As part of the initiative, the pupils were provided with pack lunches, loot bags, and new pairs of tsinelas, ensuring both nourishment and practical assistance.

Organizers emphasized that the activity reflects Alpha Phi Omega’s core values of leadership, friendship, and service, especially during its centennial celebration. By reaching out to young learners in the community, APO continues to demonstrate its commitment to uplifting lives and fostering hope through simple yet impactful acts of service.

The success of the event was made possible through the support and cooperation of the school administration. The organizers expressed their sincere appreciation to Sir Elmer L. Sabarillo, School Head of Surok Elementary School, for his warm welcome which greatly contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the activity.

The APO Handog Tsinelas 2025 stands as a meaningful reminder that a century of service is best celebrated by continuing to serve those who need it most—one step, and one pair of tsinelas, at a time.

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Alpha Phi Omega Philippines – Eastern Samar Section was warmly welcomed in Brgy. Canloterio, Maydolong, Eastern Samar by Hon. Nathaniel P. Ladiao, Barangay Chairperson, and Ma’am Lormalyn B. Gravillo, School Head of Canloterio Elementary School, for their community outreach program titled “𝑨𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝑲𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏, 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒚𝒂: 𝑴𝒂𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐.”

The program opened with an inspiring message from Sis Mariel Dado-Guimbaolibot, APO Eastern Samar Section Chair for Alumni. Pupils from Daycare to Grade 6 enthusiastically joined a series of fun and engaging games, with prizes that added extra excitement to the celebration.

A formal turnover ceremony followed, where six electric fans donated to both the barangay and Canloterio Elementary School were gratefully received by barangay officials and teachers.

The activity wrapped up with bright smiles from the children as they received gifts and Jollibee meals. Closing remarks were delivered by Brod Boni Badillo, President of the APO Hamorawon Alumni Association.

A total of 100 pupils received gifts from APO. With the support of Brod Saturnino Lacdao, APO Eastern Samar Section Chair for Collegiate, various chapters and alumni groups contributed to the success of this outreach activity, including APO Hamorawon AA, APO Guiuan AA, APO Omicron Zeta Fraternity and Sorority, and APO Xi Zeta.
