Last July 15, Kawilihan-USA joined the personnel and alumni during this year's Founding Anniversary, celebrating the 122nd Homecoming at the USA Auditorium. In honor of their loyalty to the university, the dance troupe delivered a performance that showcased original Philippine music paired with vibrant colors, reflecting deep appreciation for our country. 🇵🇭

Indeed, a commemoration of continuing legacy and celebration for unwavering love for the Philippines. ❤️‍🔥

Nothing captures the spirit of being a Filipino quite like the harmony of our art. From our original Pinoy music and the power of traditional dance, performances from the USA Performing Arts Groups were a visual love letter to our country. ✉️🌾

Yet to say “Minamahal, Pilipinas” means to love our nation not only in moments of celebration, but also to stand with our fellow Filipinos amid the issues that shape the present and future of our homeland. It is to celebrate our culture while striving for a nation where every Filipino is safe, heard, and treated with the dignity they deserve. 🇵🇭

𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 joined Kawilihan Dance Troupe in 2019 and remained an active member until her graduation in 2023. She also served as the troupe’s 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 during her time with Kawilihan. With nearly half of her college years shaped by the pandemic, she chose to remain committed to her training—showing up to online classes under Mrs. Sartorio and continuing to perform despite the limitations of a virtual space. 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

She performed in productions such as 𝙎𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙬 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮, 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙓𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚, 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡, 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙨. Anne was honored with the Gawad Agustino Award for Performing Arts. Each stage, whether physical or virtual, became a testament to her perseverance and dedication to her craft.

𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙. During her stay in the University, she was also a varsity futsal player, balancing academics, athletics, and performing arts. These experiences deepened her sense of discipline, teamwork, and determination—values she carried with her beyond college.

Today, she works as a 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧 in a private industrial firm, continuing to embody the same commitment and passion she cultivated through dance. Anne proves that even in the most uncertain times, showing up can shape who you become.

𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙣 𝘽𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙧 is a dedicated dancer and mentor whose journey in Kawilihan is defined by both her artistry and her dedication to leading others. She served as the 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 of the Kawilihan-USA Dance Troupe from 2010 to 2013, guiding fellow dancers and shaping performances with discipline and creativity.

Her talent brought her to both national and international stages—from 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙑𝙄 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 (2011–2013) 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖: 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 (2011).

Her journey did not end with Kawilihan. She went on to become a 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙙𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮, where she further developed her voice in dance and storytelling.

Today, she continues her journey in the performing arts as part of 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙, bringing her passion, discipline, and artistry to a global stage.

𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙤 has cultivated discipline and resilience through years of training in dance. She has also developed a deep sense of commitment to her craft and a strong passion for the art, shaping her not only as a performer but also as a mentor and role model to aspiring dancers.

As a dedicated member of the Kawilihan-USA Dance Troupe from 2008 to 2010, she actively contributed to promoting Filipino culture through meaningful and engaging performances. She proudly represented the troupe in events like 𝘿𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙮𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣, 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙠 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨.

Her experience on stage and as a 𝘾𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 has been complemented by her work behind the scenes, serving as a 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩, where she helped train and guide students. Through these roles, she strengthened her discipline and passion for nurturing the next generation of performers.

Currently working at the 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝙏𝙀𝙎𝘿𝘼), she is involved in operations and continues to demonstrate excellence, dedication, and professionalism in public service. 𝙆𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘿𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣 joined Kawilihan Dance Troupe in 2011, where she began a journey marked by both artistic excellence and dedicated leadership. During her time in the troupe, she served as Treasurer from 2013 to 2015 and became an active assistant in ADS, helping teach Ballet, Belly Dance, and Flamenco from 2012 to 2015.

As a performer, Khrestelle built a strong presence on stage through numerous productions and events, including 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙢 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙎𝘼 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢 (2012), 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤 (2013), 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (2013), 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮 (2015), 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘼𝘿𝙎 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙨 from 2011 to 2015. She continued to carry her artistry beyond the troupe, performing in the 𝙐𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩 in 2025 alongside Ilonggo artists and musicians.

Her dedication to dance was recognized through her achievements in competitions—becoming 𝙄𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙤 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙎𝘼𝘼 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙥-𝙝𝙤𝙥 (2012), 3𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙥-𝙝𝙤𝙥 (2013), 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙎𝘼𝘼 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 (2014).

Offstage, Khrestelle exemplifies leadership and service. She 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 2015 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧. Her commitment to community continues through her roles as a 𝘾𝙒𝙎 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧 (2018–𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩) 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙉𝘾 (2018–2024), where she has guided and inspired others through service.

Currently, she works as a 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨—carrying with her the same discipline, responsibility, and dedication she cultivated through years of dance and leadership.
