𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨) 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟭-𝟭𝟱𝟬𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗧𝗛𝗘) 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
The THE Sustainability Impact Ratings assesses the educational institutions’ research, stewardship, outreach, and teaching efforts that contribute to delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
From its previous 1501+ placement in the 2024 and 2025 THE Impact Rankings, the University also expanded its entries from four to 10 SDG categories in 2026.
Based on the figures released through the THE website, CvSU earned its highest scores in SDG 5: gender equality, 46.0-54.1 (401-600th); SDG 11: sustainable cities and communities, 48.5-55.4 (301-400th); and SDG 16: peace, justice and strong institutions, 54.3-59.1 (301-400th).
The University also improved its rankings in the following SDG categories:
· SDG 1 (no poverty) 601-800th
· SDG 3 (good health and well-being) 1001+
· SDG 4 (quality education) 801-1000th
· SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth) 601-800th
· SDG 14 (life below water) 401+
· SDG 15 (life on land) 301-400th
· SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals) 1001-1500th
CvSU Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Dr. Melbourne R. Talactac, alongside Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Ricmar, received the Sustainability Award for the University during the Global Sustainable Congress at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Indonesia.

Cavite State University proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its Main Campus in the June 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA), achieving a 95.56% passing rate, with 43 out of 45 examinees successfully earning their licenses—surpassing the national passing rate of 85.08%.
Congratulations to our newly licensed architects, the faculty members, and the College of Engineering and Information Technology for this remarkable achievement. Your dedication and pursuit of excellence continue to bring honor to the University.

In its continuing effort to strengthen institutional policies and systems related to licensure examinations, the Bulacan State University- Office of Licensure, Certification, and Professional Development (BulSU-OLCPD) conducted a virtual benchmarking activity with the Cavite State University (CvSU).
During the meeting, both institutions exchanged knowledge and best practices on student preparation for licensure examinations, strategies for improving examination performance, student retention and progression, review programs, licensure examination initiatives, and various support mechanisms designed for students.
Among the participating academic units were the CvSU College of Criminal Justice (CCJ), College of Nursing (CON) - Department of Medical Technology, and College of Education (CEd) - Teacher Education Department.
The online benchmarking activity was actively attended by Asst. Prof. Karen Louela R. Rint-Herrera, Officer-in-Charge for CON; Ms. Teodora T. Valderama, Chairperson of the Department of Medical Technology; Dr. Liza C. Costa, College Dean of CEd; Mr. V-jay Eusebio, Chairperson of Dept. of Criminology of CCJ, together with faculty members from respective colleges. They actively engaged with the BulSU team led by Mr. Louis Robert C. Sison, Head of Review and Support Program Unit of OLCPD.

As part of its capacity-building program on coconut product processing, Gourmet Farms Inc. (GFI), an accredited Regional Private Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Service Provider (PAF-ESP) under the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) Region IV-A held a benchmarking visit at Cavite State University.
This visit aimed to strengthen farmers’ competencies in quality production standards, appropriate processing techniques, and entrepreneurial opportunities for sustainable livelihood development.
The delegation, led by Ms. Eugine C. Jimenez, Manager for Agri Learning and Extension of GFI, toured the STAR Farm and Techno-Demo Farm under the guidance of Mr. Bernard Buco from the Makapuno Research and Development, Innovation and Resource Center.

CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro and UKRIDA Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Herman Parung, M.Eng., formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding during a ceremony held at the University Boardroom. Witnessing the signing together with the UKRIDA Vice Rector Oki Sunardi were key university officials, including Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Cristina M. Signo; Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Dr. Melbourne R. Talactac; deans from the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Engineering and Information Technology, and Economics, Management, and Development Studies; and the Officers-in-Charge of the International and Local Collaboration and Linkages Office (ILCLO).
The ceremony highlighted the key provisions of the agreement, including collaborative initiatives, shared responsibilities, and implementation mechanisms designed to strengthen academic linkages, research collaboration, and innovation between the two institutions. The partnership reflects CvSU’s commitment to sustainable development and contributes to the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly by promoting quality education and fostering international cooperation.
