"Ako po si Fie Amante. Humihingi po kami ng tulong para sa aking anak na si Erica A. Velacsi, isang 2nd year college student na kumukuha ng kursong BSHM.

Noong March 22, naaksidente po siya habang nagmamaneho ng motor. Habang siya ay nasa byahe, may bigla pong nag U-turn na sasakyan at siya ay nasagi. Dahil sa lakas ng impact, nawalan po siya ng malay. Nang magising po siya, nasa Pinagtipunan Hospital na siya.

Sa kasamaang-palad, walang CCTV sa lugar kung saan nangyari ang aksidente at tinakasan po siya ng nakadisgrasya sa kanya.

Sa kasalukuyan, si Erica ay naka-confine sa ICU ng Gentri Doctors Hospital. Kritikal po ang kanyang kondisyon at kailangan niya pong sumailalim sa operasyon sa ulo sa lalong madaling panahon. Kailangan po namin ng humigit-kumulang ₱148,000 para sa kanyang operasyon at iba pang gastusin sa pagpapagamot.

Kami po ay buong pusong humihingi ng tulong, anumang halaga o panalangin ay malaking bagay na po para sa amin. Sana po ay matulungan ninyo ang aking anak na makaligtas at makabalik sa kanyang pag-aaral at normal na buhay.

𝐓𝐈𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐘

With compassion and unity, we call upon the CEIT community to extend support to one of our fellow Tigers in need.

On May 13, 2026, while representing our college in the University Games Taekwondo Tournament, our fellow Tiger, Ace Bernard Ibea, suffered an injury that resulted in fractures to his forearm.

Following the incident, the CEIT Student Council maintained close coordination with the CEIT Sports Coordinator regarding the condition of the athlete. After receiving the necessary first aid, he was immediately admitted to MV Santiago Trece for further medical attention. Due to the severity of his injury, Ace Bernard urgently requires surgery, continuous hospitalization, and other necessary medical treatments as part of his recovery process.

As of May 13, 2026, the estimated medical expenses have already reached approximately ₱160,000, and the amount may still increase depending on his recovery and further medical needs. In this challenging time, we call upon the spirit of bayanihan among Tigers to come together in extending support, compassion, and assistance for our fellow student-athlete as he continues his fight toward recovery.

Following the internal turnover from former Committee on Audit (COA) Senator Gabriel King I. Reyes, Wesley Rasonabe was formally appointed as the Officer-in-Charge of the Committee on Audit of the Central Student Government (CSG).

The turnover ceremony was held at the CSG Office on April 28, 2026, marking the official transition of duties, responsibilities, and committee records to ensure the continuity of the committee’s operations and mandate.

The appointment of OIC Wesley Rasonabe signifies the Chamber’s commitment to maintaining effective leadership and a smooth transitory process within the Committee on Audit.

Last April 25, 2026, during the 32nd Regular Session, the Chamber passed Resolution No. 2025-79, titled “A Resolution Acknowledging the Resignation of Gabriel King I. Reyes from the Committee on Audit and Mandating the Turnover of Duties and Records to His Successor During the Transitory Phase.”

The resolution formally acknowledges Senator Gabriel King I. Reyes’ resignation from the Committee on Audit and recognizes his service and contributions to the Central Student Government. The resolution also mandates the proper turnover of duties and official records to ensure a smooth and orderly transition during the transitory phase.

Senator Reyes’ resignation was officially and formally acknowledged by the Chamber on April 25, 2026, during the 32nd Regular Session of the Central Student Government.
