Matthew 18:19–20:
"Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

If you have the time to spare this August 18, 12:00–1:00 PM, we invite you to join us in prayer, wherever you may be, as we pray for the successful journey of our kapwa Alumni ng Sikolohiya who will be taking the 2026 Licensure Examinations for Psychologists and Psychometricians.

No need to come to a specific place or join an online meeting. Simply take a moment within the hour to pause and offer a prayer for our fellow alumni.

Let us pray for wisdom, strength, courage, and peace as they face this important milestone. May we also pray that we become instruments in God’s plan, using the knowledge and skills we have gained to serve those who are in need.

May our prayers accompany them as they take this next step in their journey. πŸ™

The Department of Social Sciences conducted the GNED Kamustahan 2026, a faculty retooling program designed to strengthen collaboration, recalibrate teaching strategies, and enrich the delivery of General Education (GNED) courses for the upcoming semester.

Held at the DBS Conference Hall, the activity served as a venue for faculty members to exchange best practices, align course expectations, and engage in meaningful discussions on effective teaching strategies. A highlight of the program was the insightful session delivered by Sir Harold Cerdon of the College of Education, who shared valuable perspectives on pedagogical approaches that support innovative, learner-centered, and outcomes-based instruction in higher education.

As the new semester begins, the department remains steadfast in its pursuit of academic excellence, collaborative growth, and quality General Education instruction throughout the academic year.
