Congratulations to John Sario, our Multimedia Arts student, whose short film “Hanap-Hanap” under Lucky 8 Productions has been named one of the Top 16 Semi-Finalists of the MMFF Student Short Film Competition! ✨

Chosen from entries by student filmmakers across the country, “Hanap-Hanap” stood out for its creativity, originality, and fresh perspective on the Filipino Christmas experience. As part of the Top 16, the team will receive a ₱20,000 Script Development Grant and undergo a Story Development Workshop as they take the next step toward bringing the film to life.

This milestone reflects what BCJMMA continues to champion: bold ideas, meaningful stories, and young creatives ready to make their mark. Congratulations, John and Lucky 8 Productions! Keep creating. Keep telling Filipino stories. Keep making BCJMMA proud. 🎥❤️
