BMC CHRISTMAS CHEERS AND GIFT GIVING 2025 🎄✨

Held on December 2, 2025 at Bicol Medical Center, the BMC Christmas Cheers and Gift Giving once again filled the halls with hope, compassion, and the true spirit of Christmas.

With heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors Emy Grace Curativo and Heldizyl Modequillo, and with the unwavering support of our Clinical Instructors and students, we were able to share smiles and simple joys with the patients of the Surgery and Trauma Unit.

This meaningful activity reflects a cherished BMC tradition— extending love, care, and support beyond treatment, reminding our patients that they are never alone, especially during the holiday season.

Because at BMC, Christmas is not just celebrated, it is shared. ❤️‍🩹

✨BMC Week 2025: Exhibit Day ✨
Creativity met collaboration on October 8, 2025, as the BMC Week Exhibit came to life through the inspiring partnership between the UNEP PNSA Officers and the dedicated team from the BMC Surgical Ward. The exhibit stood as a vibrant showcase of teamwork, passion, and artistry—truly a testament to what unity can achieve.

Adding sweetness to the celebration was the kakanin and sweet treats booth, lovingly prepared through the joint efforts of the students, staff, and nurses of the BMC Surgical Ward.

A special recognition goes to Ms. Fe H. Galgal, RN, Surgery Ward Nurse Supervisor, for her invaluable guidance and support. As well as to the nurses and staff whose hard work and dedication played a vital role in ensuring the exhibit and booth were beautifully organized and truly successful.

It was indeed a meaningful, and inspiring event that reflected the unity and dedication of the UNEP and BMC community.

BMC Week 2025: Nursing Got Talent

The University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) proudly participated in the BMC Week: Nursing Got Talent held on September 8, 2025, showcasing the remarkable skills, creativity, and dedication of nursing students. The event was filled with enthusiasm and talent, reflecting the excellence and unity of the Nursing community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our ever-supportive University President, Atty. Remelisa G. Alfelor-Moraleda for her generosity and support, especially in providing transportation. Our sincere appreciation also goes to Ma’am Elizabeth N. Filio, Clinical Coordinator; Ma’am Veronica C. Ronda, PNSA Adviser; Ma’am Aline Bagamasbad-Tolentino; Ma’am Shieneth B. Peyra; and the PNSA officers for their continuous guidance and encouragement.
Special acknowledgment is given to our dedicated dance trainer, Sir Marko Hallare, for sharing his time and expertise in preparing the performers for the competition.

The 2𝑛𝑑 𝑅𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑑𝑎 𝑁𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑆𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑖𝑡 in partnership with the Philippine Nursing Association Rinconada Chapter together with the Philippine Nursing Student Association- UNEP, CSPC, and USANT Chapter has drawn to a close at Sta. Maria Josefa Hospital Foundation Inc., leaving behind a trail of inspiration, reflection, and hope.

Our student leaders didn’t just listen they spoke up, shared visions, and embraced what it truly means to lead in nursing. From discussions to meaningful connections, every part of the summit was a reminder that leadership is not about power, but about service and responsibility.

Iriga City joyfully marked its 𝟓𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 on September 2, 2025, with a grand Civic Parade that brought together community groups, institutions, and schools in a colorful celebration of unity and progress. The event was a vibrant reminder of the city’s rich history and the collective dedication of its people to build a brighter future.

The parade proudly featured the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗣𝗡𝗔) 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, alongside the student nurses of 𝙋𝙉𝙎𝘼 𝙐𝙉𝙀𝙋 and 𝙋𝙉𝙎𝘼 𝙐𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙏, whose energy and dedication highlighted the vital role of healthcare professionals and future frontliners. The 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗣) also joined the celebration, reinforcing the importance of compassionate care in nurturing healthier families and communities.
