Heartfelt congratulations to the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics for the success of "The Rational Drug Use (RDU)" Case Presentation led by Dr Earle Carol Garcia-Biscaro (Dept Chair) & her Faculty Team who served as panels and evaluators, Dr Rheinald Joel Biscaro, Dr Angelica Ventura-Domingo, Dr Sheryl Ronas, Dr Gina T Rosimo, & Dr Marimae Lopez.
The Class Unang Sibol had insightful discussions on 3 interesting cases to showcase their ability to bridge theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical scenarios delving into the intricacies of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics of a certain drug used in managing a disease. Likewise, the said case presentation not only assessed their grasp of complex concepts but prepared second year medical students to go further to the next level of their medical academics.
Again, congratulations to all from the Office of the Dean.

Warmest congratulations to Dr. Rowena Constantino, Dr. Aries Garin, Dr. Enrico Amadeo Constantino, Dr. Nezer Soriano, Dr Mercy Jane Gapido Garcia-Casuga, Dr Eugene John Francisco Balmores, for a job superbly done during the Clinical Integration I of Class Mausbong.The said activity assessed the 1st year Medical Students grasp of fundamental concepts in Human Anatomy, Medical Physiology, Human Histology, Biochemistry & Nutrition, Preventive Medicine & Public Health as they transitioned to clinical scenarios and disease conditions. It's a great task for the students, but undoubtedly worthwhile as they advance to the next level of their medical academics journey. This activity was made possible by the extra efforts of the Department Chairs & Faculty Members, who served as evaluators & panels, coaches, advisers, and critics.
