A new chapter unfolds for the 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗔) as a new set of student leaders steps forward to carry the trust and responsibility entrusted to them by their fellow students.

Leadership in Islam is an 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗵 a trust that calls for sincerity, accountability, and service. These leaders are not only entrusted to represent the students, but also to contribute to the unity, growth, and progress of the Department of Islamic Studies.

With shūrā, cooperation, and sincere service as guiding principles, may this new council work together with one heart and one purpose: to serve the Islamic Studies community and make a meaningful difference throughout their term.

Despite the many trials and challenges in life, you never gave up. Instead, you became stronger, more determined, and steadfast in your pursuit of knowledge.

Indeed, Islamic Studies is one of the finest fields of study because it provides a balanced education—one that nurtures both worldly understanding and spiritual growth.

As Imam Ash-Shafi'i رحمه الله said:

مَنْ أَرَادَ الدُّنْيَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْعِلْمِ، وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْعِلْمِ، وَمَنْ أَرَادَهُمَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْعِلْمِ

As the first semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 comes to a close, the Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (Major in Shariah) presents its Accomplishment Report. Throughout the semester, various academic, spiritual, and leadership-oriented activities were successfully carried out to foster holistic student development. These initiatives strengthened students’ understanding of Islamic principles, enhanced ethical awareness, and promoted leadership and collaboration.

We sincerely extend our gratitude to our adviser, Prof. Algamir Pandi, and our Chairperson, Prof. Hasanul Basariy Alam, for their invaluable guidance and continued support. We also thank the faculty members, partner organizations, and students whose cooperation and active participation contributed greatly to the success of these initiatives.

Despite challenges such as time limitations and balancing academic responsibilities, the program remained resilient and committed. The accomplishments of this semester reflect our dedication to academic excellence, service, and the promotion of Islamic values. We look forward to more meaningful and impactful activities in the coming semester.
