Mula sa gawaing lohistika, nagsilbing dugo ang mga manggagawang ito sa makinaryang nagpapagana ng malaking kumpanyang San Miguel. Imbis na kilalanin ito, sa isang iglap nagawa nilang sibakin ang mga manggagawa matapos pagkakitaan at pagsamantalahan sa matagal na panahon.

Tahasan itong akto ng union busting. Matapos makamit ng unyong UNM-SMILSI ang pagiging Sole and Exclusive Bargaining Agent (SEBA), at pag-usad ng kanilang isinusulong na Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) na maghahatid sana ng mga tagumpay, tsaka nangyari ang malawakang tanggalan at paglalagay sa mga manggagawa sa โ€œfloating statusโ€. Malinaw na isa itong pagtatangka na lumpuhin ang lumalakas na unyon.

Bilang mga kabataang magiging manggagawa sa hinaharap, tayo ay hinahamong mangahas na magtanong nang matalas. Alamin kung bakit kailangan pang mag lupasay at lumuhod ang mga manggagawa para lamang makapagtrabaho. At higit sa lahat, alamin kung bakit takot at duwag ang mga kapitalista sa mga unyon at organisadong manggagawa.

Hanggaโ€™t may nagsasamantala, may lumalaban. Desido ang mga manggagawa na ituloy ang laban at panatag sa lakas ng sama-samang pagkilos kung kayaโ€™t kasalukuyan silang nasa picket line upang ipaglaban ang karapatan para sa trabaho. Kaya naman, kaisa ang UPLB CASSC sa mga nananawagan sa kagyat na pagpapabalik sa higit 800 na manggagawang tinanggalan ng trabaho at pamilyang inagrabyado.

Bilang dating CASSC Chairperson, naipakita niya ang talas ng kaniyang pagsusuri hinggil sa mga isyu sa unibersidad at lipunan. Simulaโ€™t sapul, siya ay nahasa ng kaniyang matagal na panahong inilaan sa buhay konseho at mga naging panahon sa pakipapamuhay sa masa at komunidad. Hindi siya nagpatinag na tumungo kung saan siya kailangan, mula sa mga komunidad ng mangangalahig sa Montalban hanggang sa mga residente ng Purok 6B, Bambang.

Bukod pa roon, siya rin ay isang mabuting kasama at kaibigan. Mahusay siya sa mga gawain, hindi mapili sa trabaho, at mapagkumbaba ang pakikitungo sa iba. Sa mga umiiral na kontradiksyon at pangamba, isa rin siya sa mga taong una mong maiisip na sandigan at kausapin. Tunay na isang lider na maaasahan at lider na mapagkakatiwalaan ng sangkaestudyantehan at ng masa.

The CAS Student Council has received updates from various CAS units regarding the student-led petitions for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 2026โ€“2027.

For the ๐——๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—›๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ (DHUM), five (5) new sections for COMA 150 have been opened.

For the ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜† (IC), a priority listing for CHEM 18 and CHEM 18.1 is open until July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

For the ๐——๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€ (DSS), requests to open two (2) STS 1, one (1) PI 10, and one (1) SAS 1 section will be forwarded for approval. Further announcements will be posted on the departmentโ€™s page.
