On August 7, 2026,the Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation, Inc. (SLTCFI) proudly joined the Ibalong Festival Parade in Legazpi City, marking the opening celebration of one of Albayโ€™s most vibrant cultural festivities.

Our dedicated students, faculty, and administrators came together to proudly represent SLTCFI, bringing energy, unity, and enthusiasm to the streets of Legazpi City. Through the parade, we celebrate not only the rich heritage of Bicol but also the strong sense of community that connects us all.

From the colors and cheers to every step along the parade route, SLTCFI showed that education goes beyond the classroom it is also about culture, community, identity, and shared experiences.

A mobile phone was found by Mr. Johnsen Gonzales at the SLTCFI Canteen during lunchtime in July 2026.

The rightful owner is requested to proceed to the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), Room 202, Administration Building, SLTCFI, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., to claim the device. For proper verification, the claimant must present at least one (1) valid ID and provide sufficient proof of ownership, which may include successfully unlocking the device or identifying specific details about it.

The device will be released only after the claimantโ€™s identity and ownership have been properly verified.

Student Orientation | First Semester, Academic Year 2026โ€“2027

Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation, Inc. (SLTCFI) successfully conducted its Student Orientation for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 on July 29, 2026 and August 1, 2026, at LCC Superama.

The orientation served as an essential introduction for our incoming students, providing them with comprehensive information on the College's academic policies, student services, institutional guidelines, and campus expectations. It also reinforced the institution's commitment to fostering academic excellence, personal development, and responsible citizenship.

As we officially commence a new academic year, we extend our warmest welcome to all our new students. May this milestone mark the beginning of a meaningful and rewarding educational journey, guided by the values of integrity, excellence, and service.

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation, Inc. (SLTCFI) successfully conducted a Fire and Earthquake Drill on July 31, 2026, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) โ€“ Legazpi City.

The activity featured a comprehensive lecture and practical emergency drill facilitated by FO1 Marwin A. Gamboa and FO3 Nelson L. Arandia Jr., who shared valuable knowledge on fire prevention, earthquake preparedness, emergency evacuation, and life-saving response procedures.

NSTP students, faculty members, and school personnel actively participated in the activity, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and readiness during simulated emergency situations. The program aimed to develop responsible, safety-conscious, and community-oriented citizens by equipping participants with essential disaster preparedness skills.

The NSTP Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Legazpi City for their invaluable support, expertise, and commitment to promoting disaster resilience and public safety.
