Divine Word College of Legazpi welcomes Mr. Emmanuel P. Nolasco, MM, CHED Education Supervisor II, who conducted a monitoring visit to the School of Business, Management and Accountancy (SBMA) on August 18–19, 2026.

The monitoring visit covered the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMAC), Bachelor of Science in Internal Auditing (BSIA), and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) programs.

The visit underscores the College’s continuing commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and the delivery of responsive and relevant business education.

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 | 𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑫 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑫𝑼𝑪𝑻𝑺 𝑴𝑶𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑽𝑰𝑺𝑰𝑻 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑩𝑺 𝑷𝑺𝒀𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑳𝑶𝑮𝒀 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑴 𝑨𝑻 𝑫𝑾𝑪𝑳

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region V conducted a monitoring visit to Divine Word College of Legazpi (DWCL) on August 18, 2026, as part of its continuing quality assurance efforts. The visit focused on the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program under the School of Education, Arts, and Sciences (SEAS).

Representing CHED Region V, Engr. Janet N. Naag, MDM, Supervising Education Program Specialist, reviewed key areas of the program, including curriculum implementation, instructional practices, faculty qualifications, and learning resources. The monitoring aimed to ensure the program’s compliance with national standards and its responsiveness to the needs of learners.

During the visit, the School of Education, Arts, and Sciences (SEAS) welcomed Engr. Naag. She met with Dr. Salvacion L. Garcera, LPT, Dean, and Mr. Elric Justin C. Rico, MAEdEng, LPT, Associate Dean, as part of the monitoring process.

The findings and insights from the visit will help DWCL further strengthen the BS Psychology program and develop responsive strategies aligned with CHED standards and the College’s commitment to academic excellence.

Through continuous quality assurance, DWCL remains committed to strengthening its programs in pursuit of academic excellence and responsive education.
