CAMPUS ORGANIZATION ORIENTATION 2026–2027
In Celebration of the 2026 ASEAN Month
Theme: "Setting Sail for ASEAN 2026: Navigating Our Future, Together."
The Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), together with the Supreme Student Government (SSG), invites all existing recognized campus organizations and students intending to establish new campus organizations to attend the Campus Organization Orientation.
📅 August 12, 2026 (Wednesday)
🕜 1:30 PM onwards
📍 GM Building, 2nd Floor
This orientation will discuss the organization renewal process, schedule of renewal, recognition and accreditation requirements, Student Handbook policies and guidelines, and other important university policies governing student organizations.
As part of the 2026 ASEAN Celebration and in support of the University's compliance with the applicable CHED Memorandum No. 257 Series of 2026, participating organizations will be given the opportunity to choose an ASEAN Member State to represent.
📌 HOW IT WILL WORK:
Each participating organization may choose ONE ASEAN Member State to represent.
Only one organization may represent each country. Country selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Organizations may represent their chosen country through simple and creative means, such as:
-Appropriate attire or colors
-Country flag or banner
-Cultural symbols or accessories
-A traditional greeting
-Short introduction or interesting facts
-Simple cultural presentation
Each organization will have a maximum of 2-3 minutes for its presentation.
No expensive costumes or elaborate materials are required. Creativity, teamwork, cultural appreciation, and ASEAN spirit are more important than the amount spent.
🏆 BEST ASEAN COUNTRY REPRESENTATION
The participating organizations will be evaluated based on:
Creativity & Originality – 30%
Cultural Representation – 25%
Teamwork & Participation – 20%
Presentation & Delivery – 15%
ASEAN Spirit & Unity – 10%
Organizations are encouraged to showcase creativity and teamwork in representing their assigned ASEAN country. The Best ASEAN Country Representation will be recognized and awarded , with certificate and a prize!
📌 IMPORTANT: Participation in this orientation is MANDATORY. Attendance and participation shall form part of the requirements for the renewal of existing recognized campus organizations and the recognition and accreditation of newly established campus organizations for Academic Year 2026–2027.
