When the spotlight dims and the cheers fade into memory, what remains of a crown once worn with pride? For the former kings and queens of LiComCo, the end of their reign is not a closing chapter but a quiet beginning; an echo that stays still.
After the final wave and the fall of confetti, the bearers of the crown step onto a different kind of stage, one without bright lights yet filled with purpose. Their story continues as the grace, confidence, and leadership honed beneath the stage’s shimmer carry on long after coronation night.
Take last year’s titleholders, for instance. When the applause faded, they did not stop living out what the crown stood for. They led academic projects, joined community drives, and mentored the next batch of hopefuls. They carried with them the silent weight of example, showing that royalty is not defined by beauty or wit but by influence and purpose.
“Through this opportunity, I became a freelance model, something I had always dreamed of. This experience helped me grow, lead people toward meaningful goals, and apply what I’ve learned in my profession,” said Mr. LiComCo 2024, Razy De la Cruz.
For some, a moment under the spotlight becomes more than fleeting bliss. It opens doors to self-discovery and endless possibilities. Some stars are not meant to stay hidden among the dark clouds but are destined to stand tall and shine: to leave a legacy that lasts.
“The most important lesson I learned is that I was capable of stepping out of my comfort zone. I finally found the courage to believe in myself and erase the doubts in my mind so I can face all the challenges that come my way,” shared one former titleholder.
The most meaningful moment, however, often comes when they pass the crown to the next winners. As they place the gleaming symbol on a new head, there is pride and a hint of nostalgia. They see themselves in the eyes of the new titleholders: hopeful, nervous, and radiant. But they also know a truth that only experience can teach: the real reign begins after the stage, in the choices made once the crown is gone.
“To the next Mr. and Ms. LiComCo, the real challenge is to lead with passion, be inspired by kindness, and empower others through education. Remember that this crown is not just for recognition or praise but a responsibility to lead by example,” they advised.
Today, their names may be remembered in banners and archives, but their legacy endures in the stories, mentorship, and inspiration they leave behind. The crown may change hands every year, but its spirit, shaped by those who wore it, continues to shine in every LiComConian who dares to dream, lead, and rise.
Because in LiComCo, the crown is never just passed. It echoes.
