As we observe the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, let us be the solution to each other's challenges by practicing in different ways.

In Bayanihan Race, we will run together with volunteers and community members towards a common goal of ending poverty.

Online registration will open on January 2018 but you can already begin looking for a partner community and start planning with them. For more details, contact our Bayanihan Race Secretariat at [email protected].

The culture of caring and sharing starts at home.

Donna Louise Unsad, from the Téduray tribe of Upi, Maguindanao, started as a Gawad Kalinga volunteer in 2005 while studying in UP Diliman. Donna served as a Sibol teacher in GK Payatas Trese, Quezon City and a Community Organizer for three years. She then came back to Mindanao as Volunteer Coordinator in Cagayan de Oro to establish the first batch of GK Youth in CDO and Bukidnon. Now, a full-time volunteer, Donna shares her passion and service with our communities in her homeland, Maguindanao.
