The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) emerged as the Overall Champion at the 12th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC)–NCR Regional Culture and the Arts Festival 2026, held from March 2 to 6, 2026. The festival carried the theme “Pagsaulog: Honoring our Cultural Heritage and Treasures.”

A significant share of the championship was driven by the awardees, student delegates, and coaches from the Department of Performing Arts (DPeA), whose dedication, discipline, and rigorous preparation played a vital role in the University’s success.

DPeA extends its gratitude to the University Center for Culture and the Arts (UCCA) for entrusting the Department of Performing Arts with key responsibilities in the festival.

The winning delegations will advance to represent the University at the PASUC National Culture and the Arts Festival on April 8-11, 2026 to be held in Iloilo City and to be hosted by West Visayas State University.

Congratulations to all DPeA delegates and the entire PUP community.

Bilang isang pamantasang bayan, buhay ang diwa ng EDSA sa Sintang Paaralan, at kailanman ay mahalagang okasyon ito upang ipagmalaki ang ating naging mga hakbang patungo sa demokrasya at pagpapanday ng kaunlaran ng bansa.
