[12.17.2025] The Benildean community came together to celebrate the talented winners of the 2025 Benildean Idol competition. Taking home the top prize was Ms. Meliza Dela Cruz from the Center for Partnership Advancement, with Prof. Allan Jay Natividad from the School of Multidisciplinary Studies, Theology and Philosophy Area, securing second place, and Mr. Primitivo Moscare, a Benilde Senior High School Teacher, claiming third place.
The competition was further enhanced by the expertise of the MP Program APPMUS Voice Professors, who served as vocal coaches to all the finalists, including Prof. Bernadette Sebandal, Jerry Olaguer, Janine Flores, and Jose Mari Javato. A panel of esteemed judges, comprising of Center for Procurement General Items Head Mr. Felix Antojado, SACP Dean Prof. Magdalena De Leon, and MP Chairperson Prof. Patrick Frias, carefully selected the winners. Other finalists includes Ms. Carmy Bumanlag, Ms. Jude Elaija Lagutan, and Ms. Meliza Casipit.
The event was made possible by the exceptional live band and back-up vocal performances by the CHORUSC Class of Prof. Ghira Casille, and the ENSEMBL FPMP1, FPMP2, and FPMP3 classes of Prof. Micah Sanchez. Notably, this competition served as the final examination for these courses in the MP Curriculum, demonstrating the program's commitment to fostering talent and creativity. Behind the scenes, the Live Sound Engineers Guild, MP's in-house organization under Prof. Daniel Monong, provided top-notch audio setup and mixing, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Kudos as well to our SACP Lab Associates.
Congratulations once again to the winners, and thank you to everyone involved in making this event a resounding success.
