Speech-Language Pathology students of the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas - College of Rehabilitation Sciences. It is an exclusive organization for students which aims to provide camaraderie among its members as well as to other organizations in the same field. It also promotes academic-enriched activities and projects, both curricular and extra-curricular, that will cater the intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual and social aspects of its members.

The UST Speech-Language Pathology Society proudly congratulates our fellow Speechies, Nathan Kristopher M. Magdasoc, Precious Loriane H. Borja, Romina D. Dalisay, Angela Rae-Anne M. Pablo, and Alessandra Jane C. Timbol, together with their faculty mentor, Mr. Ivan Efreaim A. Gozum, on the publication of their research article in the Journal of Religion and Health (Springer Nature).

Their article, โ€œSpeech in Line: A Catholic Ethical Approach in Prioritizing Children with Speech Delay or Elderly Stroke Survivors Amidst the Scarcity of Speech-Language Pathologists in the Philippines,โ€ also earned recognition through the Saint Mary Magdalene Award during Thomasian SPACE 2026 for its engagement with ethical issues and its relevance to contemporary social concerns.

Through this publication, our students contribute to the growing body of Speech-Language Pathology research by delving into questions surrounding service delivery and access to care in the Philippine context.

May this milestone continue to inspire the community to pursue research that advances the profession and responds to the needs of society. Once again, congratulations to our fellow Speechies on bringing honor to the UST Speech-Language Pathology Society and the University! ๐ŸŒŸ

As our interns draw closer to the moment they've been waiting for, we look back on the Baccalaureate Mass held last May 29, a meaningful celebration of faith, gratitude, and the journey that brought them to this point. Like lanterns finally reaching the sky, each step has brought them closer to seeing the light of the dreams they have worked so hard to achieve. ๐Ÿฎ

As they prepare to embark on new adventures beyond the university, we celebrate the memories, challenges, and milestones that illuminated the path. Here's to the light that guided them here and the brighter horizons that await them.
