Dr. Norby Salonga, Founding Director of the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center, participated in the Enactus 2026 Relaunch Forum held on July 3, 2026, at Hyundai Hall, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.

During the forum, Dr. Salonga emphasized the importance of encouraging students to view competitions and formation programs not merely as academic requirements, but as opportunities to explore meaningful career paths and become drivers of social change. He also encouraged young changemakers to use technology, collaboration, mentorship, and their respective disciplines to transform complex social problems into opportunities for innovation.

Drawing from his own experiences in attending conferences, networking events, and participating in volunteer work at a young age, Dr. Salonga highlighted how these opportunities helped shape his journey toward social entrepreneurship. His message reminded students that solving interconnected challenges begins by asking deeper questions, finding the right community, and having the courage to start somewhere.

The relaunch marked the official return of Enactus Philippines as a nationwide platform for student-led entrepreneurship and community impact. A significant milestone during the relaunch was Dr. Salonga’s induction as a member of the inaugural Enactus Philippines Board of Advisers. As an adviser, he will help provide strategic direction, strengthen partnerships, contribute to high-level discussions, and support initiatives that empower the next generation of Filipino changemakers. In addition, its renewed program will connect universities across the country through regional activities, faculty mentorship, and a national competition, with the winning team earning the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the Enactus World Cup 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil.
