The Sebastinian Psychology Society proudly congratulates San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila’s Institute of Graduate Studies’ newest licensed psychologists who passed the 2026 Psychologists Board Examinations. The institution posted an impressive 90.91% passing rate, surpassing the national average of 87.50%, with 10 out of 11 examinees earning their license.

Special congratulations go to "Ms. Christia R. Aque" , our very own Student Development and Placement Center’s Psychometrician, who has now become a full-fledged Psychologist — a truly well-earned achievement reflecting her hard work, passion, and commitment to the profession.

To all our new licensed psychologists: congratulations on this remarkable milestone! The Sebastinian Psychology Society is proud of your achievement and excited to see the positive impact you will bring to mental health and human behavior in your communities.

"Hindi lahat ng katahimikan ay kapayapaan."

Sa ika-limampu't apat na anibersaryo ng pag-deklara ng Batas Militar o Martial Law sa Pilipinas ngayong araw, panatilihin nating alalahanin ang ating mga karapatan bilang mga mamamayang Pilipino. Tayo'y manaig sa pagsikap ng katotohanan, pananagutan, at responsibilidad sa mga nakakaitaas, sapagkat sila ang bukod-tanging namamahala sa ating mga kapwa-mamamayan. Ang mga korupt ay dapat managot, at ang mga hindi karapat-dapat sa posisyon ay tanggalin. Mula rito, bilang mga miyembro ng ating bayan, nawa'y ugaliin pa nating maisagawa ang ating mga karapatang-pantao para sa kaayusan na lagi nating inaasam, upang hindi na maulit uli ang kasuklam-suklam na Batas Militar sa ating minamahal na Pilipinas.

In the midst of chaos, one can be perceived still standing firm in peace, yet within them holds the absolute inner war - the fight of saving one's own life despite the lingering urge to put it to an end.

Let us then be mindful and aware of each other's burdens, and do our best to understand what one may be going through before putting them to judgement. It may not be easy; however, even just by doing a small act of kindness and allowing oneself to sympathize with others, it can already be big for that someone. And if you are that someone who's going through it, kindly remember that we are just here to listen to you and care for you, lending you our aiding hand to alleviate your troubles as best as we can.

May this September remind you of the significance of the "Su***de Prevention Month", and be a beacon of light to others who may be searching for it.
