This Christmas, we look beyond the lights to the harsh reality of our nation. While many are still submerged in the aftermath of broken promises and billions in missing funds, others remain blinded by loyalty to the very hands that emptied the nationโ€™s pockets. Five months into the flood control debate, truths have surfaced, but those truly responsible have yet to face the bars of justice. As we gather around more budgeted tables this year, let this not just be a 'Merry' Christmas, but an eye-opening oneโ€”a time to choose truth over blind devotion.
