The public is hereby informed that the official logo of Marinduque State University (MarSU) is a registered trademark with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) and is protected under Republic Act No. 8293, otherwise known as the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.
As the registered owner, the University possesses the exclusive right to use and authorize the use of its official logo. Accordingly, the Use of the MarSU logo is strictly limited to authorized University offices, personnel, recognized organizations, and duly approved institutional partners, in accordance with University policies.
Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or use of the MarSU logo in publications, advertisements, merchandise, social media, or other materials may constitute a violation of intellectual property laws and may be subject to appropriate legal action.
Individuals, companies, organizations, or other external parties intending to use, reproduce, distribute, or sell materials bearing the MarSU logo must first secure prior written authorization from the University by submitting a Letter of Intent addressed to the University President.
This Notice is issued to safeguard the integrity, reputation, and institutional identity of Marinduque State University, and to ensure that the official University logo is used solely in a lawful, proper, and authorized manner.
Marinduque State University appreciates the publicโs cooperation in respecting and protecting the official identity and intellectual property rights of the institution.
