The USM President has recently approved another project - Infrastructure Management for the Advancement of Moro Communities (IMAM).
Through this project, USM ARISE team strives to introduce the university’s star crops (e.g. rubber, cacao, banana, and corn) with proper support infrastructure towards climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural and livelihood productivity. IMAM focuses on selected Moro communities in Kabacan particularly in Pisan and Cuyapon. This project will not provide infrastructure per se but to socially prepare the communities and local officials in managing infrastructure projects. Thus, this project is characterized by capacity building trainings for farmers, engineers, local officials, and other constituents including pilot-testing of technologies.

A new ARISE project has been approved by the USM President to commence beginning April 1, 2015.
E-BARANGAY seeks to promote the use of ICT infrastructure in assisting the barangay local government units (BLGUs) in enhancing their governance and transparency in the delivery of basic services including web-based land use planning. It seeks to prepare target barangays towards agricultural and livelihood productivity by improving the capacity of barangay officials in web-enabled development planning of land resources and appropriate agricultural systems.
