TAGOLOAN, Misamis OrientalโTagoloan Community College (TCC) officially launched its Valentine's festivities on February 13, 2026, with the theme "FEB-IBIG SA TCC: Celebrate Friendship, Family, Self-Love, and Appreciation Within the School Community."
The event opened with an invocation, the singing of the national anthem, and the TCC hymn. It was attended by students and faculty members, along with the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Leoneil R. Sulapas MAED, and the Dean of the Extension Campus Malaiba, Prof. Rey James L. Amba RCrim MSCJ, who delivered their opening remarks. The activity was spearheaded by the Supreme Student Council led by Ms. Maria Chrisandrea Lomoljo.
"The true beauty of our college lies in the hearts of its people," said Ms. Maria Crisandrea Lomoljo, the SSC President.
The event highlights a diverse range of interactive booths and activities to foster school spirit and camaraderie which prepared by the colleges such as; Photo Booth, Movie Booth, Marriage Booth, Blind Date, Cupid's Delivery Express, Shoot My Heart and Palabunotan, Special Friending Booth, Letters to Romeo and Juliet, Human Slot Machine, Face Paint Booth, Handcuff Booth, Jail Booth, and many more.
The organizers have also prepared raffle draws and games that encourage participation from all year levels. These activities were specifically curated to provide a break from academic life, allowing students to create lasting memories through laughter and lighthearted encounters.
By focusing on various forms of affectionโfrom the loyalty of friends to the importance of self-careโthe FEB-IBIG celebrations aim to ensure every member of the TCC feels valued. Whether through small tokens of appreciation or the meaningful crafted flowers, the event serves as a reminder that love within the school community is a powerful force for unity.
