The CLSU Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Society (CLSU MBBSoc) aims to promote and create public awareness of the science of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and allied fields in the Philippines. Its vision is to be the primary organization to annotate, enhance, and express the university's capacity in research and development relevant to the country's advancement through Molecular Biology and Biotechnology applications that break into promotion, education, and public service.

Let us all come together on 18th of May to celebrate our dedicated and hard-working Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Society Members for their admirable work in both the field of biotechnology as well as in our growing MBBSoc community.

Vibrant colors, as well as cheerful voices from festivities fill the Biotechnology and Analytical Laboratory on April 15th as we celebrate 𝐌𝐁𝐁𝐒𝐨𝐜’𝐬 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲🧬🎉 with the theme “BALrio Fiesta” From nostalgic food that energized everyone for the celebration, to games that triggered nonstop chain reactions, every moment became a part of the DNA of this memorable anniversary.

The conclusion of our 4th Founding Anniversary marks not just another year of existence as an organization, but a positive reminder of how far we had become as a community filled with passion and talent. Let us carry with us our shared solidarity, and memories that will continue to be amplified far beyond this celebration.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗗🧬

Learning and collaboration mutate as the 𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 🧪🔬 held on the 14th of April, synthesized minds filled with reinvigorated perspectives. Every hands-on experiment and lectures on DNA extraction protocols, pipetting techniques, plant tissue culture, and gel electrophoresis has served as a catalyst for deeper understanding of accurate, precise, and disciplined methodology that primed curious minds to flourish and appreciate biotechnology.

While the hands-on workshop may have concluded, we hope that everyone learned meaningfully by retaining refined skills and ideas through this shared experience and engaging environment.

Genes began to jump🧬, as the first day of the week-long BioWeek celebration on April 13th culminated in meaningful collaboration and unforgettable memories in the games and booths that were prepared for curious and lively minds🧠 (like you!). Whether its in the Biomazing Race or Biolympics (or even both), we hope that the teamwork-fueled experience has brought everyone closer to each other.

‎For four years, the CLSU Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Society has been a partner and cornerstone for promoting the wonders of biotechnology to a wider audience. An initiative that started from a simple thought, bloomed into a community of shared interest. This was the day when we started with the basics. It would also be on this day when we not only commemorate sacrifices and achievements from the past, but also firmly set our resolve to what more we could possibly be in the years to come, on how we continue to embody our desire to not dwell on the basics, but go above and beyond it.
