𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯: 𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮

In continuation and culmination of the “𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀,” Day 3 highlights the presentation of outputs by participating LGUs, showcasing their application of the concepts and techniques learned throughout the training.

Participants present their analyses and outputs, followed by critiquing and feedback sessions facilitated by the resource persons. This final day provides an opportunity to reinforce learning, refine outputs, and strengthen participants’ confidence in applying statistical tools for evidence-based planning and decision-making in their respective localities.

The Department of Statistics extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their active engagement throughout the training, and to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Nueva Ecija Provincial Statistical Office for the valuable collaboration in making this activity a success.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮: 𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮

In continuation of the “𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀,” Day 2 focuses on enhancing participants’ competencies in data presentation, analysis, and interpretation for evidence-based decision-making.

The session on Data Presentation and Visualization is delivered by 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀, a CLSU BS Statistics alumnus, followed by a discussion on Measures of Central Tendency and Variability and Interpreting Statistical Results facilitated by 𝗠𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼, faculty member of the CLSU Department of Statistics.

These sessions further strengthen the ability of LGU personnel to effectively summarize, present, and interpret data in support of data-driven local governance.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭: 𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Nueva Ecija Provincial Statistical Office in collaboration with the CLSU Department of Statistics, is currently conducting the “𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀” at Casa Jedliana Hotel and Resort, Brgy. Tagpos, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.

Day 1 featured foundational topics in statistics, including Introduction to Statistics, Key Concepts, and the Uses of Statistics in Local Governance, delivered by 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗿, a CLSU BS Statistics alumnus. This was followed by a session on Types of Data and Sources, Sampling, and Introduction to Excel (including functions and applications), facilitated by 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗹, faculty member of the CLSU Department of Statistics.

These sessions aim to strengthen the statistical capacity of LGU personnel in handling, analyzing, and interpreting data for more effective and evidence-based local governance.
