𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

On June 3, 2026, the Department of Statistics convened its department meeting to discuss key academic and administrative preparations for the First Semester of A.Y. 2026–2027. The agenda included teaching assignments, faculty designations, and thesis advisorship assignments to ensure proper workload distribution and strong academic support for students.

Updates on the curriculum map and syllabus were also reviewed to further strengthen alignment with program outcomes and enhance instructional quality. The department also discussed planned activities for the upcoming National Statistics Month, highlighting initiatives that promote statistical awareness, engagement, and academic enrichment.

The meeting likewise served as a meaningful occasion to welcome the new faculty members of the department: 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗵, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀, and 𝗠𝗮𝗺 𝗭𝘆𝗿𝘆𝗻 (affiliate faculty), marking a continued growth in the department’s academic community.

Overall, the meeting reinforced coordination, readiness, and commitment to continuous improvement in departmental operations.
