𝗕𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟 𝟰𝗬 𝗕𝗠 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗦𝗘 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹

Ms. Karen M. Laban, BAPOL 4Y business manager, passed the tough professional-level Career Service Examination (CSE) of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) held on March 8, 2026.

As per the CSC bulletin, 15.85% or a total of 48,735 examinees successfully passed the March 2026 CSE out of 307,489 takers nationwide.

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲! 𝗕𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟 𝟰𝗬𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿

BAPOL 4Y students finished their academic calendar and passed all the courses required under the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science program in December 2025. In their final semester, they studied International Law, led a send-off ceremony for internship and completion rites, conducted an outreach program at the New Bilibid Prison, and defended their theses before a panel.

Further, since no midyear graduation, 4Y students will instead be included in the graduation ceremony of the current batch, to be held in July 2026 at SMX Manila, as announced.

They also share valuable words on what they learned during their college years. The photos used in the layout come from memories captured through digital means. Nevertheless, while many moments were left unrecorded, they will not be found elsewhere but are surely kept deep in the hearts of the BAPOL 4Y family.

𝗕𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟 𝟰𝗬 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗱

With the help of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG) students and their in-kind donations, program extension was accomplished, the BAPOL 4Y serving as the administrator. It was held on November 22, 2025 at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reception and Diagnostic Center (RDC).

This program was titled "Isang Komunidad, Isang Pag-Asa: A Student-Led Program for PDLs at the Bureau of Corrections." It was led by Mr. Roberto Garcia Jr. The secretariat committee was also formed and consisted of Ms. Criselle Natad and Mr. Jayvee Blanza.

In addition, it was handled by year-level coordinators: Ms. Samantha Joy Malabanan for 1st year students, Ms. Jenevie Valenzuela for 2nd year students, Ms. Rosanna Sael for 3rd year students, and Ms. Ma. Christine Ibuig for 4th year students.

The program extension was hosted by Mx. Cyrus Babol and Ms. Alliah Santos, while the rest of the course students served as the foundation in its meaningful ex*****on.

IPPG Dean and professors were also present. They included Ms. Hanna Regine Ramos-Iguid, and some who were once professors of BAPOL 4Y, specifically Dean Ana Marie Pascua and Ms. Jasmin Padua, then Dr. Paul dela Vega and Ms. Shirley Nabor delivered inspirational messages.

Special gratitude was extended to C/Insp Oscar dela Vega Jr., C/CInsp Mauricio Gratis Jr., jail officers, and the maximum security unit inmates for the warm welcome received by PLMun IPPG and BAPOL 4Y.

Ms. Yownice N. Manumbas, a badminton player from BAPOL 4Y, will participate in the Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) 2025 as part of the PLMun Marshall team. The event will be held from October 19 to 25 in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

𝗔𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗽. 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗸𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀

Atty. Chel Diokno, the Akbayan party-list representative, shared a heartfelt message to BAPOL 4Y student-interns who will be conducting the practicum course in their final semester. The said pinning ceremony will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at the Heroes Hall.

To also note, Ms. Ana Marie G. Pascua, LPT, MPA, is now the Officer-in-Charge Dean of the Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG).

Welcome to PLMun, Hon. Danilo "Ka Daning" Ramos! 🌾⚖️

𝗞𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱-𝗢𝗳𝗳

"From the people, for the people.” BAPOL 4Y has invited Hon. Danilo H. Ramos, fondly known as "Ka Daning," to deliver an inspirational message at the 3rd IPPG Send-Off Ceremony.

Ka Daning is a distinguished peasant leader with over 40 years of experience advocating for the rights of farmers and ordinary Filipinos. He currently serves as the chairperson of the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas, the largest farmers' association in the country. He also ran as a senatorial candidate in the 2025 Midterm Elections.

4Y students believe that Ka Daning’s principles will inspire them not only to uphold excellence, but also to carry integrity firmly in their hands as they serve the most important clients—the Filipino people.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗚 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

In the history of Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG), this is the first time that the send-off ceremony is being held for a single block, which is BAPOL 4Y, composed of just 25 student-interns under the guidance of Ms. Shirley C. Nabor, MPA, LPT, as their practicum coordinator.

They organized the ceremony and tied partnerships with esteemed university organizations: the IPPG Student Government, The Warden Publication, Political Science Society, and the Emergency Response Team. To give an idea, this serves as a rite of passage before students begin their practicum. They are required to complete 200 hours of fieldwork, and this ceremony symbolizes their readiness and dedication.

It carries the theme "From the People, For the People: Committing to Excellence and Integrity in Service," highlighting the commitment to serve the people on the ground—not only by upholding excellence but also by holding integrity firmly in their hands.

The 3rd IPPG Send-Off Ceremony will be held on August 30, 2025, at 1 PM at the Heroes Hall. Meanwhile, the honorable guest speaker will be announced soon.
