During the ๐๐Ÿ‘ ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ, our student-responders proved that real-world emergency preparedness is built right here at the University of Nueva Caceres.

From rapid floor-by-floor Search and Rescue sweeps across Quadrant 3โ€”including the SNAHS and DHS buildingsโ€”to high-pressure First Aid & Triage Operations, our team brought life-saving readiness to the forefront.

Here at ERT, we don't just teach healthcare in the classroomโ€”we train proactive, field-ready leaders who keep our campus safe and resilient.

The ๐”๐๐‚-๐’๐๐€๐‡๐’ ๐„๐‘๐“ ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ (๐๐‹๐’) ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  โ€“ ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐๐š๐ญ๐œ๐ก officially concluded on July 26, 2026, marking the successful completion of three days of intensive training in emergency response.

In partnership with the ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐‘๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž (๐‚๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐Ž), participants completed lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises on ERT Formation, Basic Life Support (BLS), Standard First Aid Training (SFAT), and disaster response.

While the training has come to an end, the journey of service is only beginning. May the lessons, experiences, and values gained throughout these three days continue to guide Batch 2 in answering every call with courage, preparedness, and a heart to serve. ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค

The ๐”๐๐‚-๐’๐๐€๐‡๐’ ๐„๐‘๐“ ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ (๐๐‹๐’) ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  โ€“2nd ๐๐š๐ญ๐œ๐ก successfully completed its ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  on ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, as trainees advanced beyond life support fundamentals and strengthened their emergency and disaster response capabilities.

Together with our dedicated partners from the ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐‘๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž (๐‚๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐Ž), participants took part in engaging lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and realistic simulations focused on patient lifting and transport, bandaging, splinting, triage, and disaster response.

The UNC-SNAHS ERT Basic Life Support and First Aid Training (BLSSFAT) โ€“ Batch 2 officially commenced its three-day training on July 24, 2026, bringing together another group of aspiring student responders committed to strengthening their emergency response skills.

In partnership with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), participants underwent lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises on Emergency Action Principles, Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, Rescue Breathing, and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) Management.

As Batch 2 embarks on this three-day training, may every lesson and practical exercise prepare them to respond with knowledge, discipline, and purpose.

Please be informed that all 30 fourth-year students who were previously included in the Second Batch Training ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐š๐ฐ๐ง due to a schedule conflict with the Synthesis and Review, which will also take place on Saturday and Sunday.
