The 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is pleased to inform interested parties of the Call for Applications to the Master’s and Doctoral Scholarships in Agriculture and related fields for School Year 2026-2027 offered by the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐀).

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Region 3, Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, in partnership with the Central Luzon State University (CLSU), will conduct a Free 40-hour Onsite Training on “Web Content Management Course Using WordPress” this October 6–10, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at CLIRDEC, CLSU, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

This hands-on course will guide participants in designing and managing websites using WordPress, while ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in compliance with DICT Memorandum Circular No. 004, s. 2017.

The Central Luzon State University | CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company achieved a remarkable international milestone after winning the Gold Prize at the prestigious 2025 Andong Mask Dance Festival and World Mask Play Competition held in Andong, South Korea, from September 25 to October 6, 2025.

Under the artistic direction of Associate Professor Adonis Voltaire M. Villanueva, the CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company proudly soared to the final round after an exceptional performance in the International Category (Group Division), competing against over 30 participating countries from around the world.

Their award-winning performance captivated both the audience and the panel of judges, showcasing the artistry, discipline, and cultural depth that define Filipino dance. Blending tradition and innovation, the group’s choreography reflected the richness of Philippine heritage—expressed through powerful movements, vibrant costumes, and compelling storytelling.

The World Mask Dance Competition, one of the highlights of the globally renowned Andong Mask Dance Festival, gathers top-tier cultural performers across continents to celebrate creativity and intercultural exchange through the art of masked and traditional dance.

The CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company’s success marks another shining moment in the university’s international artistic journey—solidifying CLSU’s growing visibility and impact in the global performing arts arena.

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (DHTM), was honored with Platinum Award during the Recognition of School Partners and Launching of the Flight Attendant Training Program of the Astoria Culinary and Hospitality Institute (ACHI) held on October 4, 2025, at Chardonnay by Astoria in Pasig City.

The Platinum Award symbolizes the 14 years of strong partnership between CLSU and ACHI, an enduring collaboration dedicated to advancing hospitality and tourism education through quality internship training and industry-based learning.

𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙨: 2026 𝙋𝘼𝙎𝘾𝙉 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 & 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨/𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 (𝙏𝘿𝘼𝙋)

This annual call provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and graduate students from PASCN member institutions to contribute to policy-oriented and academic research that strengthens the Philippines’ engagement in the Asia-Pacific region. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2025.

The TDAP provides financial assistance to graduate students completing their thesis or dissertation research aligned with APEC’s themes and priorities. It is open to students who have completed all academic requirements for their degree, except the thesis or dissertation.

Master’s students may receive up to PHP 50,000.
Doctoral candidates may receive up to PHP 100,000.

Application Requirements:
Applicants are required to submit the following:
1) Duly accomplished application form and CV;
2) Application letter addressed to the PASCN Secretariat, (include in the letter why the study should merit the grant/justification and relate study to APEC);
3) Endorsement letters from the Dean of the Graduate School of the applicant’s institution as well as his/her adviser/supervisor. Said letter(s) should also include what other grants the applicant may be receiving or is expected to receive from other institutions/ agencies.
4) Certification of approval of thesis/dissertation outline signed by the members of the Advisory Committee;
5) Copy of endorsed thesis/dissertation proposal, following the PASCN-TDAP format;
6) Copy of grades of graduate studies

ANNOUNCEMENT: Shift to Online Synchronous Classes – October 4, 2025

In light of the Orange Rainfall Warning issued by DOST-PAGASA due to Typhoon Paolo, and in prioritization of the safety and well-being of our academic community, all graduate-level weekend classes scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, will be conducted online via synchronous modality.

Graduate faculty members are advised to coordinate with their respective students regarding platform access and session links. Students are expected to attend their classes remotely and adhere to the original schedule unless otherwise notified by their instructors.

We encourage everyone to stay informed through official weather advisories and take necessary precautions during this period of inclement weather.
