Official Announcement | Dissertation Public Defense
The Graduate Programs Office cordially invites the academic community to witness the Dissertation Public Defense of Ms. Riziel Sarmuyan-Sagun, a candidate for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education, major in General Science.
Her study, titled “ATTUNING SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS IN CHEMISTRY EDUCATION USING A DEVELOPED CHROMO-INDICATION FLAVONOID-SENSITIVE MICROFLUIDIC PAPER-BASED ANALYTICAL DEVICE,” will be presented on May 15, 2026, at 8:00 AM, to be held at the RET office Conference Room.
The defense will be evaluated by the distinguished members of the advisory and examining committee: Dr. Jonathan P. Pasion (Chair), Dr. Daisy V. Rivera (Member), Dr. Jane D. Navalta (Member), Dr. Julius S. Valderama (Member) and Dr. Allan Christopher C. Yago (Expert Evaluator), under the guidance of Dr. Lori Shayne A. Busa (Adviser).
This event shall also be live streamed, with access credentials to be posted at a later time.
All interested faculty, students, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
