ADVISORY | Continuation of Classes, Final Examinations,and Work on May 21, 2026

This refers to Executive Order No. 53, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the Governor, declaring the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools within the Province of Nueva Vizcaya and highly encouraging government agencies in the Province to suspend work or adopt flexible work arrangements on May 21, 2026, in celebration of the Annual Grand Ammungan Festival.

Following the issuance of the Executive Order, the University submitted a formal letter to the Office of the Governor explaining the scheduled final examinations on May 20–22, 2026, as well as the conduct of the University’s 2nd Surveillance Audit for ISO Recertification on May 20–21, 2026, and requested exemption from the suspension in view of these previously scheduled academic and institutional commitments. The request was duly approved by the Office of the Governor.

Accordingly, the conduct of final examinations and work for all teaching and non-teaching personnel of Nueva Vizcaya State University shall proceed as scheduled on May 21, 2026.

Students are hereby informed that they are directed to proceed to the Nueva Vizcaya Sports Complex on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 7:45 AM for the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI).

📍 Assembly Area: Bleachers along Quezon Street

All attendees are reminded that their support and active participation are vital to the success of this important activity. Students are expected to observe proper decorum at all times—conducting themselves in a polite, respectful, and orderly manner throughout the event.

Let us also demonstrate attentiveness and responsiveness to all instructions and proceedings during the program.

ADVISORY | WORK-FROM-HOME ARRANGEMENT & HOLIDAY

Please be informed that the University, for both campuses, will implement a Work-from-Home arrangement on April 30, May 2, and May 4, 2026.

ADVISORY | HOLIDAY AND WORK-FROM-HOME SCHEDULE

Please be informed that Thursday, April 9, 2025, is a regular holiday in observance of "Araw ng Kagitingan" (Day of Valor), as declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1006.

In line with this, there will be no classes and office operations on the said date.

Furthermore, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, and in compliance with University Memorandum No. 95, s. 2026, both campuses shall observe a Work-From-Home (WFH) scheme on April 10 and April 13, 2026.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲:
During the implementation of the WFH scheme, University premises and offices will remain closed, and regular on-site services will not be available.
