Subject: Urgent Request for Support for Barangay Lamao, Limay, Bataan
To our dear Kuya, Ate, Bunso and the helping community.
There is a critical situation in Barangay Lamao, Limay, where a recent shipwreck has left 3,500 registered fishermen and their families in severe hardship. Without buyers for their catch, they have no income or means to provide for their basic needs.
Vice Mayor Dennis Rechie David has made an urgent appeal for help. We desperately need donations of rice, canned goods, noodles, and used clothing. Additionally, materials for improvised oil spill booms, such as human hair, shredded coconut husks, and 1.5/2-liter PET bottles, are also essential to prevent further environmental damage.
The Balikatan Eagles Club plans to distribute "sando" bags containing 2 kilograms of rice, 3 cans of sardines, and 3 packs of noodles to each family to meet their immediate needs.
We earnestly request your generous support to aid the people of Limay, Bataan. Any contribution you make will greatly alleviate the suffering of these families and help them through this difficult time.
Your compassion can make a significant difference in their lives. We are deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide and thank you for considering our request.
Respectfully,
Roche Delos Reyes
