🎓 Palawan State University – Narra Campus Celebrates its 21st Commencement Exercises

With pride and honor, Palawan State University – Narra Campus successfully held its 21st Commencement Exercises on June 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at the Narra Municipal Gymnasium.

This year’s commencement ceremony celebrated the achievements of the graduates from the different curricular offerings of the campus, marking another significant milestone in their academic journey.

With a total of 548 graduates, the ceremony served as a meaningful recognition of the graduates’ hard work, perseverance, dedication, and commitment to excellence throughout their years of study.

The graduating class was composed of students from the following programs:

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science
Bachelor of Elementary Education
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Bachelor of Science in Criminology
Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management
Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management

The ceremony was graced by Hon. Christine Joy Mahilum-Lacsamana, SB Member of the Municipality of Narra, as the Commencement Speaker. In her message, she inspired the graduates to remain positive, hopeful, and determined as they move forward to a new chapter of their lives. She reminded them that every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and that success comes to those who continue to believe in themselves, work hard, and stay committed to their dreams.

The event was also graced by the presence of distinguished officials and guests, including Hon. Edmond “Jojo” Gastanes, Municipal Vice Mayor of Narra; Hon. Alex Lacsamana, SB Member and Chairman on Education; Prof. Marissa S. Pontillas, OIC-University President; Prof. Glen Vallejo, BOR Alumni Representative; Dr. Sandra S. Manzul, Cluster Dean for Oriental Campuses; Dr. Gabilyn G. Orilla, Cluster Dean for Occidental Campuses; Dr. Cheryll Anne C. Dator, University Registrar/Director for Student Records Management; and Prof. Remedios L. Magbanua, PSU Narra Campus Director. Their presence added significance to the occasion as they joined the PSU Narra community in honoring the accomplishments and success of the graduating class.

The ceremony was likewise attended by the dedicated faculty and staff of PSU Narra, whose guidance, service, and commitment have greatly contributed to the academic formation and success of the graduates. Through their continued support, the campus remains steadfast in its mission of providing quality and accessible education to the people of Narra and nearby communities.

This commencement exercise is not only a celebration of academic completion but also a celebration of courage, growth, and new beginnings.
