🇵🇭 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝘁𝗵 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲

In a world quick to divide people with labels, today reminds us of a greater truth: there is no such thing as being “half” Filipino when your heart beats for the Philippines.

Our identity is not defined by percentages, appearances, or where we were born. It is found in the values we uphold, the culture we cherish, and the love we have for our nation and fellow Filipinos.

As we celebrate 128 years of Philippine Independence, may we embrace our heritage with pride and remember that what unites us will always be greater than what sets us apart.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Yesterday, June 11, the incoming UA Central Student Council Officers for Academic Year 2026–2027 paid a courtesy visit to our University President, Rev. Fr. Oliver G. Yalung.

During the meeting, the council presented its proposed action plans for the Assumptionist community and introduced its working theme, “𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗕𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀.”

In return, Fr. Oliver shared his wisdom and guidance with the incoming officers, emphasizing the importance of 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆—walking together, listening to one another, and working collaboratively in service of the community.

Guided by faith and inspired by synodality, the incoming officers look forward to serving the Assumptionist community with unity, purpose, and dedication.

While many of us may not be able to help physically, through these simple acts of generosity, we can still make a meaningful difference. Every donation, no matter how small, can bring hope, comfort, and relief to those who need it most.

The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 officially begins its term of service through active participation in 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at Pandaras Integrated School.

In partnership with the 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, headed by Sir Rio Polintan and its coordinator Sir Norbert Joseph Garcia, together with the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 headed by Ms. Precious Bernadette Estrada and the 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, the CSC joined hands in preparing a positive and welcoming learning environment for students and teachers alike.

More than preparing classrooms, this initiative reflects our commitment to 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵. This is only the beginning. As we embark on a new year of service, we remain dedicated to making a 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 both within and beyond the University.
