The 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 (𝐏𝐒𝐔-𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐂 𝐒𝐒𝐂) has successfully concluded its active participation in the two-day 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
A defining milestone of this convention was the official 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡-𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, where our student leaders formally pledged their commitment to climate leadership and environmental governance.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to TRAC Philippines for granting our council the invaluable opportunity to be part of this high-impact training program and induction. Immersing our student leaders in this convention is highly significant for both our institution and the student body. It bridges the gap between global sustainability frameworks and localized student governance—equipping us with the knowledge, policy insights, and leadership tools needed to champion environmental stewardship and disaster resilience within our campus and the wider community.
Over the course of June 19–20, 2026, our newly inducted representatives gained critical perspectives from an esteemed lineup of national leaders, policymakers, and environmental advocates, including:
Sec. Robert E.A. Borje (Climate Change Commission)
Dr. Noralene M. Uy (DENR Assistant Secretary)
Prof. Natalia Sali (One Child One Tree)
Maria Elena M. Estares (The Climate Reality Project)
Mr. Rexor Amancio (Global Renewable Alliance)
Jonas Marie A. Dumdum, MSc RCh AICD (The Climate Reality Project PH)
Raymond Succang (PNRI-DOST)
Prof. Roxanne O. Doron (UP Manila)
Alyssa Julianne Belda (Make It Safer Movement)
Rodne R. Galicha (Environmental & Human Rights Advocate)
Representatives from the Office of Senator Risa Hontiveros
As SUSTAINERGY 2026 comes to a close, the PSU-BINC SSC stands ready to honor our sacred oath and transform these valuable insights into concrete, youth-led initiatives. Climate action goes beyond discussion; it demands continuous collaboration, innovation, and active citizen participation. Armed with these new learnings, we stand prepared to serve as catalysts for change, driving a future where People, Planet, and Prosperity thrive together.
Our profound thanks to TRAC Philippines for making 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 possible. Thank you for equipping the student leaders of PSU-Binmaley with the vital knowledge, policy insights, and practical tools needed to lead campus climate action.
Because of your empowerment, we are fully prepared to transform these invaluable lessons into concrete, youth-led environmental initiatives!
