In a continuous effort to promote a healthier and more sustainable environment, the City Government of Alaminos, through the ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐ต๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐ (CENRO), has collaborated with the ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐น๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ (DOST R1) and the ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (UP CARE). The joint team conducted a comprehensive site visitation and evaluation at the PSUโAlaminos City Campus on May 22, 2026. The activity is geared toward assessing the campus as a strategic location for a proposed Air Quality Monitoring Device.
Spearheading the assessment on the ground were Campus Administrative Officer ๐ซ๐. ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ. ๐ถ๐๐๐๐ and Campus Coordinator for Energy Efficiency, Solid Waste Management, and Pollution Control ๐ซ๐. ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ. ๐ผ๐๐๐๐
๐. They joined CENRO Officers led by ๐ด๐. ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ. ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ and representatives from DOST and UP CARE to pinpoint the ideal installation site for the device.
As the first campus in the region to receive this device, PSU-ACC extends its sincerest gratitude to the LGU of Alaminos City, led by ๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช. ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐, for choosing the institution for this vital initiative that aims to safeguard the health of both the campus and the community.
