Exit-conference of fourteen (14) Pre-Service Teachers at Camohaguin National High School - May 24, 2024

Camohaguin National High School has been more than just a training ground; it has been our second home. The school's healthy environment and outstanding mentors have played a crucial role in our development. We are grateful to all the cooperating teachers and staff who have generously shared their knowledge, time, and expertise with us. Your mentorship has been a cornerstone of our growth, helping us evolve into capable and confident future educators.

As we reflect on our journey, we remember the countless hours spent preparing lessons, the sleepless nights perfecting our teaching methods, and the intense rush of cramming moments. These experiences, though challenging, were invaluable in shaping who we are today.

Thank you, Camohaguin National High School, for being an integral part of our journey. Congratulations to the 14 Pre-Service Teachers (PSTs) of Camohaguin National High School—6 Mathematics and 8 Social Studies major - for their succesful final teaching demonstration. - May 8, 13 and 14, 2024

The 14 PSTs extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and guided them, specially to their respective cooperating teachers and the CNHS Principal, Ma'am Arminda D. Red.

Also, they would like to express their deepest appreciation to the observers from SLSU Gumaca: Sir Jhon Kenneth Aguado, Ma'am Krish Palay, Ma'am Mia Stefanie Grayda, Sir Emmanuel Libranda, and Sir Kevo Riel Tarray. Their feedback and suggestions have been invaluable in shaping their teaching practices and professional growth.

They are also grateful to the observers from CNHS: Ma'am Charina Valeria Q. Canzon, Sir Arvin Valderrama, Ma'am Lorna Eroles, and Sir Wilson P. Oflaria. The observers' insightful evaluations and encouraging words have been instrumental in refining the PSTs teaching skills and boosting their confidence as future educators.

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of the 10 Pre-Service Teachers from Panikihan National High School. Among them are 6 specializing in BSED-Mathematics and 4 on BSED-Social Studies.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated Cooperating Teachers, who have played an important role in guiding and supporting us in our internship journey.

We would also like to acknowledge the presence of our esteemed observers from SLSU Gumaca: Mr. Jhon Kenneth Aguado, Mr. Noel Libranda, Mr. Kevo Riel Tarray and from Panikihan National High School, Mrs. Menching Samson Their valuable insights and feedback have contributed greatly to the success of the Final Teaching Demonstration.

First and foremost, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Mrs. Judith B. Fortuna, Principal of Lamon Bay School of Fisheries. Your leadership and commitment to education have been an inspiration to us all. Your support has been instrumental in providing us with a conducive environment for learning and growth.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to the Academic Head, Mrs. Teodora B. Regencia. Your dedication to academic excellence and your unwavering support have motivated us to strive for the best. Your guidance has been a cornerstone in our journey, helping us to navigate the challenges and celebrate the milestones.

To our cooperating teacher, Mrs. Evelyn M. Severa, words cannot express how grateful we are for your mentorship and encouragement. Your patience, wisdom, and unwavering support have been invaluable. Career Coaching and Exit Conference Empowers SLSU Gumaca Graduates Class of 2024

SLSU Office of Student Affairs and Services together with the SLSU Gumaca Campus facilitated an insightful Exit Conference and Pre-employment Career Coaching session at the campus Function Hall, April 29, 2024. The event was specifically designed to prepare graduating students for the workforce.

The conference featured graduates from various programs, including Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Mathematics and Social Studies, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) major in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) major in Computer Technology, and the Diploma in Midwifery.

The event start with opening remarks from John Michael Capanas, President of the Graduating Batch, setting an enthusiastic tone for the day. Following him, the OIC - Campus Director, Dr. Nilo H. Dator, provided an inspiring message, urging students to apply their knowledge and skills as they transition from academic to professional life.

The highlight of the session was an engaging talk by Prof. Joanna Rodessa R. Capilitan, RGC, who shared valuable career guidance and job search strategies, emphasizing on crafting resume, proper dress and grooming, and interview techniques. Her expertise illuminated the path for these soon-to-be graduates as they prepare to enter the professional world.

The conference concluded with thoughtful closing remarks from Prof. Harlene L. Dimailig, Program Chairperson for BSBA, who encouraged the graduates to carry forward the lessons learned and to embrace the challenges ahead with confidence and determination.

These event marks a significant step for SLSU Gumaca in supporting their students' transition to successful careers.
