(1) huling trimester period mo na at need mong ma-update ang PROSPECTUS;
(2) mag-aapply ng SIP/SAIP para sa OJT/Internship/Practicum;
(3) graduating student na kailangan para sa GRADUATION APPLICATION;
(4) transferee/second courser para ma-monitor ang iyong academic standing;
(5) kailangan mo sa trabaho, scholarship, and/or any legal matters.

Iwasan po natin magtanung sa ibang studentsdahil maaaring nirequire ang SOG sa isang student for a specific purpose, ika nga, it is a case-to-case basis po.

ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES is a learning modality where students do not need to attend ONSITE CLASSES at a specific time or day. Instead, learning materials, lectures, assignments, and other learning activities are provided by the teacher online (Google Classroom and/or Blackboard) and can be done by students at their own time, as long as it is completed within the prescribed deadline.

This is a method used by educational institutions to continue the studies of students even in case of class suspensions, calamities, or other unforeseen circumstances, to prevent their studies and academic progress from being delayed.

In simple terms:
• SYNCHRONOUS – Teacher and students attend classes at the same time.
• ASYNCHRONOUS – Students can study and accomplish their assigned activities on their own time, within the given deadline.

So even if onsite classes are suspended, learning continues, it's just a different method and time of study.

FAQ: What is Academic PROSPECTUS and for what purpose?

During the 1st year level, it is advisable to get an Academic PROSPECTUS from the Registrar’s Office or Admissions Counter of your Campuses (Cainta, San Mateo, Cogeo, Taytay and Binangonan); make sure to update your Prospectus during the trimester period and every end of a trimester period. To obtain an Academic Prospectus, you need to show the proof (Received Copy) that all your admission documents have been submitted, including FORM 137 and PSA Birth Certificate. You can request a REQUEST LETTER for your FORM 137 at the Admissions Office or Counters of your respective campuses. A SOG or SUMMARY OF GRADES is not required if you are a regular student updating your prospectus.

If you are a student at Antipolo and Sumulong Campus, since your Student Portal is used as a Student Portal, you do NOT NEED to get a PRINTED ACADEMIC PROSPECTUS, simply download and print your DIGITAL or SYSTEM GENERATED PROSPECTUS WITH GRADES from your Skolaris account. If you need to use this for any academic requirements such as applications for QE/Qualifying Exam, application and valuation for SIP/OJT and/or graduation, simply DOWNLOAD YOUR UPDATED SYSTEM GENERATED PROSPECTUS and sign it at your Campus Coordinator or Academic Head from your respective campus; make sure you have completed all your Admissions Documents, especially Form 137 and PSA Birth Certificate – you may present proof such as receiving copies placed in your “Blue Plastic Document Envelope.”

TIP No. 1: If you are in your 2nd to 5th year level, it is advisable to monitor your academic standing with a simple SELF-EVALUATION using your PROSPECTUS; put your grades in separate printed copies of your prospectus to know which subjects you need to enroll in during the enrollment period. Especially the subjects you may have dropped or failed. Keep this in mind to be guided until 4th or 5th year level. During the enrollment period, we have an ADVISING activity where you can attend and get assistance with updating your PROSPECTUS.
TIP No. 2: For students using the AIMS Student Portal (Cainta, San Mateo, Cogeo, Taytay and Binangonan Campuses), updating your PROSPECTUS and copying the latest Summary of Grades (SOG) at the Registrar Office is REQUIRED if you are in the LAST TRIMESTER PERIOD (GRADUATING) to make your PROSPECTUS OFFICIAL; this is also what will be looked for when you apply for the Student Internship or OJT Program. For students from Antipolo and Sumulong Campus using SKOLARIS, you don't need SOG, just download your Digital or System Generated Academic Prospectus with grades from your portal, not unless there are discrepancies and you need to countersign with your Campus Coordinator or Academic Head of your campus.

TIP No. 3: For IRREGULAR students, make sure your PROSPECTUS is always updated before enrolling in subjects to enroll; lagging in seeking ADVISE in the Enrollment Advising Section or asking for guidance from the Guidance Office or your College Heads to know the subjects you need to add during the enrollment period so that you won't delay getting all your subjects.

TIP No. 4: For Bachelor's or Degree Program students with board exams, it is advisable to always have your ACADEMIC PROSPECTUS updated for your QUALIFYING EXAM (QE) where it is held every 3rd Trimester of your SECOND YEAR LEVEL. You may just look for SOG or Summary of Grades if you have grades that are blank, marked 5, INC, NEXP or DRP.

TIP No. 5: Avoid asking other students because each student's case is different; SOG may be required by JUAN per okay MARIA but not by PEDRO. Let's get into the habit of approaching the GUIDANCE COUNSELING OFFICE or your Campus and Academic Coordinators to ask for PROPER ADVISE.
TIP No. 6: Let us remember that as a STUDENT, we are entitled to follow any POLICY and/or GUIDELINES that are set to make your academic experiences systematic. IF WE FOLLOW THEM PROPERLY, we will also have no problems and will be able to fulfill every instruction in your studies and graduate from college. Graduation is part of completing your studies, and we should also consider financial matters when we are enrolled in a PRIVATE SCHOOL. In essence, you are being prepared not only to attain higher education and earn a diploma, but also to develop the character and discipline of a future professional who has the potential to succeed. You will learn to follow policies, rules, and standards—because in the true professional world, every organization and company has its own policies that must be respected and followed.
