351st NROTC Graduates Embody Service, Leadership, and Patriotism

A total of 540 cadets were honored during the 43rd Graduation Ceremony of the 351st Naval Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (NROTC), held on May 19 at the RSU Romblon Campus Gymnasium. The event marked the successful completion of military training designed to instill discipline, leadership, and preparedness for national service.

The ceremony celebrated the dedication and resilience of student-cadets as they officially joined the Philippine Navy Reserve Force through their oath-taking, symbolizing their commitment to serve the country when called upon.

A total of 534 Midshipmen and Midshipwomen proudly completed the NROTC Program, marking another milestone in developing disciplined, service-oriented, and patriotic youth leaders.

In his keynote message, CAPT Medalla highlighted the importance of the NROTC Program in shaping responsible citizens, future leaders, and reservists ready to serve the nation in times of peace, disaster response, and national defense.

The activity was graced by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‘๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ ๐•๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Œ ๐€๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ณ, Campus Director a Master Sergeant of the Philippine Marine Corps Reserve Force, who delivered the welcome remarks, together with ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐„๐๐ ๐š๐ซ ๐•. ๐€๐ง๐๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐จ, NSTP Director.

Following the ceremony, CAPT Medalla and Prof. Andalecio paid a courtesy call to ๐‚๐ƒ๐‘ ๐‹๐Ž๐” ๐๐‘๐ˆ๐€๐ ๐• ๐๐€ร‘๐Ž ๐๐, ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐‘๐ ๐…๐ž๐๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐จ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ซ (๐๐‚-๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ“), represented by ๐‹๐“ ๐†๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ ๐‹๐ฎ๐œ๐žรฑ๐จ ๐๐, ๐„๐ฑ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ. Twelve advanced officers were also allowed to board PC-385 for an educational shipboard tour and naval orientation while anchored at Romblon Port. The activity provided valuable firsthand exposure to naval operations, ship capabilities, and shipboard evolutions, further strengthening the cadetsโ€™ leadership, discipline, and commitment to service.

The graduation ceremony and ship familiarization activity concluded successfully, leaving the cadets inspired and more prepared to serve as future members of the nationโ€™s reserve force.

The 351st Naval Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (NROTC) held its 43rd graduation ceremony at the RSU Romblon Campus Gymnasium on May 19, recognizing 540 cadets who completed months of military training and preparation for service.

The ceremony highlighted the cadetsโ€™ discipline, leadership, and commitment as they officially concluded their ROTC training and took their oath into the Philippine Navy Reserve Force.

CAPT Aniceto P Medalla III PN (GSC), keynote speaker, emphasized the importance of ROTC in strengthening national defense and instilling patriotism, discipline, and responsibility among students.

The program also featured the presentation of graduates by SN2 Ferdinand D Rodriguez PN, awarding of certificates and honors, formal declaration of graduates, and oath-taking rites.

The graduation marked another milestone for the 351st NROTC unit in preparing student-cadets for civic and national service.
