The ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ (CAS) successfully conducted its two-day intensive training-workshop titled โ๐พ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐ก๐๐๐ช๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ, ๐๐๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐ค๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ, ๐๐ฉ๐๐ข ๐ผ๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐จ๐๐จ, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ-๐ฝ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐พ๐ก๐๐จ๐จ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ,โ held at the RSU Hostel.
Anchored on the institutional commitment to โ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ท๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐น๐ค๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ,โ the activity brought together CAS faculty members in a structured and collaborative engagement aimed at strengthening curriculum alignment, enhancing assessment practices, and integrating technology-driven approaches in instruction. Over the two-day period, participants demonstrated active involvement in the development and refinement of instructional and assessment materials aligned with current academic standards.
The program formally commenced with opening remarks from CAS Dean Ms. Mary Jane A. Fadri and Dean of Instruction Dr. Mark G. Calimbo, followed by an overview of the workshop objectives and activities presented by Associate Dean Dr. Henley F. Galiga. ๐๐๐ฌ 1 focused on curriculum development and assessment design, featuring sessions on the ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐จ๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ด (SDGs) ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ๐ด๐ฆ ๐๐บ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ฃ๐ช facilitated by Mr. Dave D. Calimbo, and the development of valid and reliable assessment tools through ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ค๐ช๐ง๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด (TOS) under the guidance of Dr. Garry Vanz V. Blancia.
On ๐๐๐ฌ 2, the workshop emphasized assessment analytics and digital academic management. Faculty participants engaged in a recap and alignment session facilitated by Ms. Katrina De Mesa, followed by a technical workshop on item analysis focusing on the ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ต๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ต๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ช๐ง๐ง๐ช๐ค๐ถ๐ญ๐ต๐บ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ช๐ด๐ค๐ณ๐ช๐ฎ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ฆ๐ด, led by Ms. Dana Kaye Fabiala. The entire program was conducted with professionalism and coordination, contributing to the advancement of quality, outcomes-based education within the institution.
