The Student Services and Development Section would like to inform all students that the signing of clearance has been officially extended on May 18, 19, & 20, 2026 (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday). This extension is provided to accommodate students who were unable to complete the clearance signing during the previously scheduled dates.

All concerned students are encouraged to take this opportunity to complete their clearance process within the extended schedule. Please ensure that all required documents and necessary signatures are properly secured before the deadline. Students are also reminded to strictly follow the instructions and procedures implemented during the signing of clearance to avoid delays and inconvenience.

Furthermore, all 4th Year students are advised to wait for further announcement regarding your official schedule for the signing of clearance. Kindly stay updated through the official announcements and postings of the institution for additional information and instructions.

April 23, 2026 - The Campus Clubs and Organizations Coordination Meeting was successfully conducted at the SICC Library, gathering student leaders and representatives from various organizations for a unified and collaborative discussion on strengthening campus engagement and leadership.

Presided over by Dr. Richard S. Jimenez, DevEd-GC, RGC, RPm - Director of Student Services and Development Section, the meeting emphasized the importance of coordination, active participation, and alignment of organizational initiatives with the institutionโ€™s goals. It also served as a platform for addressing concerns, sharing insights, and reinforcing the role of student organizations in fostering a vibrant academic community.

Among the key agenda discussed were the review and development of the Constitution and By-Laws, as well as the designation of roles per office. These discussions aimed to establish clear organizational structures, define responsibilities, and ensure effective leadership within campus clubs and organizations, ultimately promoting a more cohesive and well-managed student body. //J.Ariola

Conducted by the SICCโ€“Commission on Elections, the event highlighted the importance of democracy, responsibility, and student participation in selecting leaders who will serve and represent the student body.

Every vote cast symbolized the hopes, trust, and aspirations of students for a stronger, more united, and empowered academic community.

In compliance with CHED Memorandum No. 117, s. 2026, and Executive Order No. 110, Samal Island City College will implement a 50-50 hybrid blended teaching modality due to the declared national energy emergency. Consequently, the Student Services and Development Section informs all students that the deadline for signing clearance has been extended until May 13, 2026.

Students whose programs are under online asynchronous modality are not required to physically report to the college for the signing of clearance. All other students who have not yet completed their clearance are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this extension and adhere to all necessary procedures within the specified timeframe.

Please be guided accordingly and ensure that all requirements are duly accomplished to avoid any inconvenience.
