The ROTC Graduation Ceremony 2026 successfully commenced for the graduating ROTC cadets and cadettes held at the CPSU San Carlos Gym on 09 May 2026. The event marked another milestone as the graduates officially completed their ROTC training and are now prepared to uphold their duty and commitment in serving the nation. Through discipline, leadership, and perseverance, these cadets and cadettes have proven their dedication to becoming responsible reservists ready to answer the call of service anytime our country needs them. Hooahh!

A heartfelt appreciation is extended to the CPSU Administration for their unwavering support in making this event successful. Special recognition is also given to our Guest of Honor and Speaker, 1LT ODESSA L FAIRBANKS (RES) PA, CPSU ROTCU Assistant Commandant, for sharing inspiring words of wisdom and encouragement to the graduating cadets and cadettes.

The ceremony was also honored by the presence of CDT COL ARNEL B PALMA, 1CL Unit Corps Commander, CDT LTC ELIMAR R DELIZO JR, 1CLS1 Adjutant – CPSU Main, CDT MAJ JAYSON E BAJOS, 1CL, S3 Training and Operation – CPSU Main whose leadership, support, and dedication served as an inspiration to the graduating cadets and cadettes during this memorable occasion.

We would also like to sincerely thank our ROTC Coordinator and Tac-NCO, Pvt Mary Yvonne H Acuin (RES) PA, and 2LT CHRISTIAN P ACOJEDO (RES) PA (TAC-O), for their dedication, guidance, and unwavering support throughout the journey of every cadet and cadette. Your leadership and commitment truly helped shape these future reservists into disciplined and responsible individuals.

β€ŽThe day began at 0700H with the arrival of cadets, followed by attendance checking and inspection of bearings to ensure discipline and proper military posture. A Pass and Review activity was then conducted, strengthening unity, coordination, and command presence among the cadets.

β€ŽAt 1030H, 2LT CHRISTIAN P ACOJEDO (RES) PA facilitated an informative classroom session on Weapon Training. Cadets gained essential knowledge on weapon safety, handling procedures, and basic concepts necessary for responsible and effective use. Followed a quiz allowing cadets to reinforce what they learned and demonstrate their comprehension of the lesson.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 | A productive Saturday for the CPSU San Carlos Campus ROTC Unit!

The day kicked off at 0730H with cadets reporting for attendance, followed by a Pass and Review to build discipline and camaraderie within the unit.

At 1000H, 2LT CHRISTIAN P ACOJEDO (RES) PA led an engaging classroom discussion on Squad Tactical Operations (SUT) and Squad Battle Drill (SBD). Cadets learned how effective communication plays a vital role in tactical operations, proper radio procedures, and handling signal equipment.

After a well-deserved lunch break, cadets returned at 1300H to put their knowledge into action with practical exercises, showcasing their ability to transmit clear and secure information skills crucial for effective command and control in the field.

The day wrapped up with an orderly dismissal, marking another step forward in the cadets’ journey toward technical readiness and leadership development.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 | The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) San Carlos Campus Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted a specialized Saturday instruction focused on Signal Communication.

The day’s training commenced at 0730H with the standard accounting of all cadets, followed by the conduct of Pass and Review to instill discipline and unit cohesion.

At 1000H, the unit transitioned to classroom instruction regarding the fundamentals of Signal Communication. The lecture was facilitated by 2LT CHRISTIAN P ACOJEDO (RES) PA and 2CL Gwyneth D Nanalabe, highlighting the vital role of communication in tactical operations, proper radio procedures, and the use of signal equipment. Following the morning session, the cadets proceeded to their scheduled lunch break.

At 1300H, the training resumed with practical applications of signal protocols. Cadets engaged in exercises designed to enhance their proficiency in transmitting clear and secure information, ensuring effective command and control within the unit.

At exactly 1500H, the cadets were formed for the final Pass and Review. The day concluded with an orderly dismissal, marking another milestone in the cadets’ military development and technical readiness.

At 1300H, the continuation of Map Reading instruction was conducted to further enhance the cadets’ knowledge and practical understanding of the subject.

At exactly 1500H, all cadets were formed and proceeded to Pass and Review, followed by dismissal, marking another successful ROTC training day.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 | The Central Philippines State University (CPSU) San Carlos Campus Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted a productive Saturday instruction.

The activity started at 0730H with the attendance of all cadets, followed by their participation in the Flag Raising Ceremony at 0800H in celebration of National ROTC Month. The cadets then proceeded to classroom instruction.

The morning session featured Basic Life Support (BLS) lectured by CDT 1CL Juryn Javino, highlighting proper emergency response and life-saving first aid techniques.

At 1300H, instruction resumed with Survival Techniques led by the 2nd Class Officers, focusing on essential survival skills and preparedness.

The day concluded with a Pass and Review together with the Advance Officers, followed by dismissal at 1600H, marking another successful ROTC training day.

The entire activity was supervised by 1LT ODESSA L FAIRBANKS (RES) PA, Assistant Commandant, together with 2LT CHRISTIAN P ACOJEDO (RES) PA, Tactical Officer (TAC O), and PVT Jheno C Alota (RES) PA, Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). The activity was also supported by the Cadet Officers of CPSU San Carlos Campus, ensuring smooth coordination and participation throughout the activity.

The activity commenced with a Flag Raising Ceremony at 0800H, followed by an invocation and inspirational messages from ROTC leaders and school officials. The event highlighted the values of discipline, patriotism, leadership, and commitment among cadets.

The ceremony was led by the 1st Class Cadets (1CL), who demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication in organizing and facilitating the activity. Their efforts reflect the core mission of ROTC in developing responsible and service-oriented youth who are ready to contribute to nation-building and national security.

Through this culminating activity, cadets reaffirmed their commitment to serve the country with honor, integrity, and unwavering patriotism.
