Long before the applause, medals, and graduation photos, these individuals already gave a part of themselves to the campus through service, commitment, and leadership.

The journey of being a student leader was never easy. It demanded sacrifices behind closed doors, countless preparations, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, and the courage to stand for the welfare of the students even when no one was watching. Yet despite all of that, they chose to serve wholeheartedly.

To our graduating student leaders of ISSC – San Jorge Campus, thank you for becoming voices for the students, hands behind successful activities, and leaders who carried responsibility with humility and passion. Your efforts may not always have been seen by everyone, but the impact you left within the campus will always remain.

As you leave the halls where your leadership once echoed, may you carry the same fire, purpose, and dedication wherever life takes you next.

The Institutional Supreme Student Council (ISSC) and the Collegiate Student Council (CSC) of Northwest Samar State University – San Jorge Campus officially announce the Clearance Signing Schedule for the Second Semester.

Please be guided by the following dates:

• May 25 – All Graduating Students
• May 28 – 1st and 2nd Year Students
• May 29 – 3rd and 4th Year Students

All students are advised to follow their designated schedule to ensure an organized and smooth clearance signing process.

Attention, fellow Norwesians!

Please be informed that the request for the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 from May 15 to May 31, 2026 has been officially approved by the University President through the initiative of the Student Regent.

While the wearing of standard uniforms is temporarily adjusted during this period, all students are still expected to observe and comply with the University Dress Code Policy upon entering the campus premises. Let us continue to dress appropriately, respectfully, and responsibly as true Norwesians.

Please be guided accordingly.

The Institutional Supreme Student Council extends its heartfelt congratulations to Atty. Lorelie F. Tangaran on her appointment as the new University President.

May her leadership continue to foster unity, progress, and inclusive development across both the Main Campus and the San Jorge Campus ensuring that every student, faculty member, and stakeholder is heard, valued, and empowered.

The Institutional Supreme Student Council expresses its full support and optimism for a transformative administration under the stewardship of President Tangaran, anchored in visionary leadership, transparency, and sincere service to the institution and its people.

𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔!

Tuwing ika-1 ng Mayo, ginugunita ang Araw ng Paggawa bilang pagkilala sa mahalagang papel ng mga manggagawa sa paghubog ng ekonomiya at lipunan. Sa likod ng bawat serbisyo, produkto, at pag-unlad ay ang sipag at tiyaga ng milyun-milyong Pilipinong patuloy na lumalaban para sa marangal na kabuhayan.

Gayunman, nananatiling hamon ang pagkamit ng sapat na sahod, seguridad sa trabaho, at makataong kondisyon sa paggawa. Marami pa rin ang nakararanas ng kontraktwalisasyon, kakulangan sa benepisyo, at hindi pantay na oportunidad. Ang Araw ng Manggagawa ay hindi lamang selebrasyon, kundi paalala ng patuloy na laban para sa karapatan at dignidad ng uring manggagawa.

Bilang bahagi ng sektor ng kabataan at edukasyon, mahalagang maunawaan ng mga estudyante ang kalagayan ng mga manggagawa. Ang kaalaman at kamalayan ay nagsisilbing pundasyon upang makiisa at makapag-ambag sa pagsusulong ng makatarungang sistema sa paggawa. Sa ganitong paraan, napapalakas ang boses ng bawat mamamayan tungo sa inklusibo at makataong kaayusan.

Sa paggunita ng Araw ng Manggagawa, nawa’y magsilbi itong paanyaya sa patuloy na pagkilos at pakikiisa. Ang pagkilala sa ambag ng manggagawa ay hindi nagtatapos sa isang araw—ito ay dapat isabuhay sa pamamagitan ng paggalang, suporta, at paninindigan para sa kanilang karapatan.

Mabuhay ang manggagawang Pilipino!

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀, 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀

The Institutional Supreme Student Council (ISSC) issues a formal reminder to all students regarding the proper use and respect of facilities under the BSA and BAT programs.

It has come to the Council’s attention that some students have been entering and disturbing designated thesis areas without the permission of those conducting research. These areas are intended solely for authorized students, and any unauthorized interference may disrupt ongoing studies, particularly for those who are still in the process of collecting data.

The Council also emphasizes that the plants found in the laboratories, nursery area, and greenhouse are part of both laboratory activities and thesis work. These must be treated with respect and must not be touched, moved, or tampered with without proper authorization, as some of these are still under observation and data collection by students.

The ISSC strongly urges all students to observe discipline, respect boundaries, and uphold academic integrity by ensuring that all facilities remain conducive for learning and research.

𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 📣

The Institutional Supreme Student Council (ISSC) – San Jorge Campus informs all students that April 6 (Monday) will be observed as a Self-Learning Day, as requested and initiated by the Federation Supreme Student Council (FSSC). On this day, there will be no regular face-to-face classes; however, students are expected to engage in independent learning activities, accomplish pending academic tasks, and review lessons assigned by their instructors.

Furthermore, please be guided that April 9 (Thursday) is Araw ng Kagitingan, a declared Regular Holiday nationwide. This day commemorates the valor and heroism of Filipino soldiers who fought bravely for our freedom. In observance of this national holiday, there will be no classes and offices are closed. We encourage everyone to take this time not only to rest but also to reflect on the sacrifices and courage that shaped our nation’s history.

Kindly be guided accordingly and plan your schedules in advance. Stay updated through official announcements from the ISSC page for any further clarifications.

ADVISORY | The University President has approved the proposal of the Student Regent to declare SELF-LEARNING DAYS on the following dates:

March 30 - April 1 (Main Campus)
April 6 - (San Jorge Campus)

Both campuses shall shift to Modular Learning Modality and students are not allowed to enter the campuses on the said dates.

𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to the approved request of the Office of the Student Regent, The Main and San Jorge Campuses will now observe the longtime practice of Friday as Wash Day to Thursday of every week, where students are allowed to wear their Civilian Attire to properly conduct cleaning initiatives or activities, this is due to the 4-day onsite work week ordered by the Office of the University President.

The adjustment shall revert back to the usual Monday-Thursday Uniform schedule and Friday as Civillian Attire once the regular work-week resumes.
