The USG Judiciary, together with the USG Office of the Ombudsman, conducted a courtesy visit to the DLSU Laguna Campus Student Government (LCSG) to discuss concerns brought before their respective offices.

Following the dialogue, the USG Judiciary commits to strengthening its support in handling student grievances of the Laguna Campus, improving the recruitment of Laguna-based Judiciary personnel, and enhancing the publicity of its legal services to ensure accessible, efficient, and equitable justice for students across the campuses.

Through this initiative, the USG Judiciary reaffirms its commitment to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding fairness, accountability, and justice within the University Student Government system.

On International Anti-Corruption Day, we reaffirm our stand: integrity is non-negotiable.

As the Philippines continues to confront corruption at various levels of government, the need for transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership becomes even more urgent. Corruption weakens institutions, drains public resources, and erodes public trust, impacting each and every Filipino. Its effects are national, but the movement toward integrity begins with each of us.

Within the DLSU USG, this commitment starts with us. Upholding honest governance, ensuring fair and transparent processes, and empowering students to speak up help build a culture that resists corruption from the ground up. By choosing integrity in every decision, big or small, we nurture future leaders capable of strengthening our nation’s institutions.

The Office of the Ombudsman officially launches its Public Complaints and Assistance form, which provides an avenue for undergraduate students of DLSU to report illegal activities, acts of corruption, and red tape.

Don't worry! Your Confidentiality and anonymity is a priority when reporting through the google forms.

The USG Office of the Ombudsman paid a courtesy visit to the Laguna Campus Student Government (LCSG) accompanied by the Office of the Executive Secretary (OSEC) to discuss potential policies to improve long term accountability and transparency within the LCSG. Plans such as having a future satellite office for the Office of the Ombudsman in Laguna, coordinated Student Government Annual Recruitment relations, and strengthened whistleblower policies to protect student complainants from retaliation were among the topics discussed.

Student welfare and budget reports available to the public were also emphasized as a primary discussion in the Laguna Campus.

The Office of the Ombudsman maintains its commitment to aid the LCSG in upholding institutional integrity and anti-corruption initiatives to hold Laguna Student Leaders accountable to the student body and their constituents.
