Important Updates:

1. Class GCs have been created for faster channeling of information and updates. Keep your communication lines open and watch out for important updates.

2. Enrollment will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026.

3. Data gathering of hard-hit learners is now ongoing for the filing of calamity claims/assistance. Please closely coordinate with your class advisers.

4. Debriefing for personnel and learners will be done as soon as possible.

5. Our buildings have already been inspected by a group of NDMU engineers and validated by a second inspection by our LGU engineering office. Those tagged green will undergo retrofitting starting next week. So, when DepEd says classes should resume, we are ready.

6. Dameans are also encouraged to be of service in your own little way to help your community and Glan as a whole rise again.

Official Statement on the Recent Earthquake

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.” — Psalm 18:2

First, we thank God that everyone is safe, with only a few reported minor injuries. We continue to pray for and coordinate with the victims. We are also reaching out to all our learners, though communication is currently limited due to disrupted signal connections.

Second, we ask for understanding as we are given time to assess everything and allow everyone to compose themselves, especially with aftershocks still ongoing. The safety and stability of our school community remain our immediate priority.

Third, we call on our stakeholders, particularly our alumni engineers, to assist us in the initial assessment of our buildings. We likewise seek support in the eventual repair and rebuilding of our damaged facilities.

Fourth, in moments like these, we are reminded that education must never stop. We assure everyone that we will do our best to provide alternative learning modalities to ensure continuity of learning.

Finally, we remain steadfast in our commitment to rebuild and to continue serving Glan with greater resilience and dedication.

This too shall pass.
