𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 || The University of Antique–Main Campus ROTC Unit participated in the 8th Saturday Instruction on the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System last 10 October 2026.

Selected NSTP-CWTS students, under the supervision of Mr. Salvador Sembran, Mr. Dicky A. Agustin, Mr. Pablo S. Garcia, Mr. Rogelio T. Capistrano III, Dr. Ralph Welchie D. Triste, and Dr. Yuri G. Gonzaga, together with Set A and Set B ROTC cadets from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Management and Governance (CMG), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), actively participated in the activity.

Before the discussion began, LTC YURI G GONZAGA MNSA PA (RES), NSTP Director and ROTC Commandant, introduced the resource speakers, Apple Charmaine (Polestad-LDRMO 2), Broderick Train (PGDH), and Robert Suropia (Capacity Building and Training Specialist), who discussed the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System.

The discussion aimed to enhance students knowledge and understanding of disaster risk reduction and management, preparedness, and response. It also emphasized the importance of awareness, coordination, and collective responsibility in building safer and more disaster-resilient communities.

Selected NSTP-CWTS students, under the supervision of Mr. Salvador Sembran, Mr. Dicky A. Agustin, Mr. Pablo S. Garcia, Mr. Rogelio T. Capistrano III, Dr. Ralph Welchie D. Triste, and Dr. Yuri G. Gonzaga, together with ROTC cadets from Set A and Set B composed of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Management and Governance (CMG), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), actively participated in the activity.

The activity aimed to strengthen the students awareness of proper solid waste management while instilling the importance of core values, military customs, and traditions in promoting discipline, responsibility, and service.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 || UA ROTC Officers Receive Subsistence Allowance

University of Antique–Main Campus ROTC officers received their subsistence allowance from the Philippine Army at the Headquarters, 602nd Community Defense Center, Camp General Leandro Fullon.

The beneficiaries included all Advance Cadet Officers. This support not only provided financial assistance but also served as recognition of their dedication, discipline, and commitment to service. It further inspired them to continue upholding the values of leadership, patriotism, and responsibility.

𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 || The University of Antique–Main Campus ROTC Unit participated in the 6th Week of Instruction on Crisis Management on Active Shooting Incidents and Basic Intelligence last 26 September 2026.

Selected NSTP-CWTS students, under the supervision of Mr. Salvador Sembran, Mr. Dicky A. Agustin, Mr. Pablo S. Garcia, Mr. Rogelio T. Capistrano III, Dr. Ralph Welchie D. Triste, and Dr. Yuri G. Gonzaga, together with ROTC cadets from Set A and Set B representing the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Management and Governance (CMG), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), actively participated in the activity.

Prior to the lecture, the ROTC cadets proceeded to the field to conduct Harap-Harapan (facing movements) and Pasulong, Kad (Forward March) drills. These exercises were conducted to strengthen discipline, build camaraderie, develop alertness, and instill the ability to properly receive and execute commands with precision and confidence.

Following the field exercises, LTC YURI G GONZAGA MNSA PA (RES), NSTP Director and Commandant, delivered the lecture on Crisis Management on Active Shooting Incidents and Basic Intelligence.

The activity aimed to strengthen the cadets awareness, preparedness, decision-making skills, and understanding of security and safety protocols.

The lecture emphasized the importance of situational awareness, proper coordination, emergency preparedness, information security, and responsible reporting in addressing security-related incidents.

The activity further enhanced the cadets discipline, alertness, preparedness, and readiness to respond appropriately and responsibly during emergency situations.

Selected NSTP-CWTS studentsβ€”under the supervision of Mr. Salvador Sembran, Mr. Dicky A. Agustin, Mr. Pablo S. Garcia, Mr. Rogelio T. Capistrano III, Dr. Ralph Welchie D. Triste, and Dr. Yuri G. Gonzagaβ€”together with ROTC cadets from Set A and Set B from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Management and Governance (CMG), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Computing, Information, and Sciences (CCIS), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), participated in the Security Awareness lecture.
