The Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Division will hold "๐ฏ๐จ๐๐น๐๐ธ," a university-wide ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ for the new students of the University of Antique, on ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ-๐ฏ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ at the ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐จ๐ป๐๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น (UA Covered Gym).
The activity is designed to facilitate the smooth and meaningful transition of new students into university life by providing them with essential information on the Universityโs policies, academic expectations, grading system, academic calendar, student affairs and services, facilities, student organizations, co-curricular and developmental opportunities, support mechanisms, and safety and security protocols. It also aims to help students identify key University officials, personnel, offices, and resources that can address their academic, personal, health, financial, career, and other concerns, while providing an avenue for them to clarify questions related to their transition to the University.
Through this activity, the University seeks to create a welcoming, informed, supportive, and inclusive environment that enables new students to begin their academic journey with greater confidence and a stronger sense of belonging and connectedness. Ultimately, the orientation aims to equip freshmen and transferees with the knowledge, awareness, and support necessary to navigate university life, engage meaningfully in the University community, and make informed use of the programs, services, and opportunities available to them.
