The CBMA ABA and HTM Clusters of Aldersgate College conducted a courtesy call and community consultation in the barangays of Uddiawan and Bagahabag as part of the proposed Community Extension Programs for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The visit served as an opportunity to introduce the planned programs and, more importantly, to listen to the barangay officials and community representatives. Through the consultation, the team gained valuable insights into the community’s current needs, concerns, and priority challenges, helping guide the development of extension programs that are relevant, responsive, and sustainable.

This initiative reflects Aldersgate College’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships and developing programs that genuinely respond to the needs of the communities we serve. 💛🌱

POLARIS FEDERATION | ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT AY 2025–2026 ✨

Another important milestone has been successfully accomplished by the POLARIS FEDERATION as the Accomplishment Report for Academic Year 2025–2026 has been officially completed and submitted together with the Local Chapters Advisers.

The completed report was formally submitted to the OSAS Director, Mr. Jarom E. Fronda, MIT, marking the successful completion of the federation’s documentation for the academic year. 📑

This accomplishment represents the collective efforts of the officers, members, and Advisers who dedicated their time, commitment, and cooperation throughout the year. Every program, activity, and initiative documented reflects the organization’s continued pursuit of meaningful leadership and service.

As we close AY 2025–2026, the POLARIS FEDERATION celebrates this achievement with gratitude and pride. May the experiences and accomplishments of this year continue to inspire future leaders to serve with dedication, responsibility, and purpose. ✨

4th ABA Cluster Pinning, Coating & Candle Lighting Ceremony
The Accountancy and Business Administration Cluster successfully held its 4th Pinning, Coating, and Candle Lighting Ceremony on August 5, 2026, at the United Methodist Church, anchored on the theme: "COATED WITH CHARACTER, PINNED FOR PROGRESS, IGNITED TO INSPIRE: Forging the Next Generation of Ethical Business Leaders and Accountants."

​The solemn occasion opened with a service led by Rev. Rodelyn R. Brazil, School Chaplain, Mrs. Annie L. Baniaga, MBA, CFMS, who gave opening remarks. The student-interns were formally presented by Dean Marilyn C. Acob, CPA, MBA, LPT, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys. ​Highlighting the event, Guest Speaker Mr. Christian D. Reolalas, CPA a CBMA Part-time Instructor and Tax Consultant at Isla Lipana & Company, imparted an inspiring keynote message to the batch:
​"Grab every opportunity that comes your way, but make sure you do your part. Success doesn't happen by chance—it comes from showing up, working hard, and taking responsibility for our actions."

​Representing the parents, Mrs. Rachel A. Ramos, mother of a BS Accountancy student-intern, delivered a heartfelt reminder for the students to wear their pins with pride and their coats with honor, highlighting the unwavering love, sacrifices, and support behind every student's achievement.

​The CBMA community proudly celebrates the ABA Cluster as they step forward, coated with character, pinned for progress, and ignited to inspire.

The CBMA-SCC EXCELSIOR Federation continues to advance its commitment to providing better support and services to the CBMA student body with the acquisition of new equipment and technological resources. These include an LTE USB Modem with Wi-Fi Hotspot, USB Hub/Adapter, HONOR X7d smartphone, and Epson EcoTank L3250 printer, which will serve as valuable resources for the federation’s administrative, communication, documentation, and multimedia needs.

This acquisition marks another step toward building a more efficient, accessible, and future-ready student organization. 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉. 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆. 🔬

The College of Business, Management and Accountancy (CBMA) successfully conducted its Departmental Research Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027 on August 12, 2026, at AVR 2, bringing together student-researchers, research advisers, and panel members for an afternoon of learning and collaboration.

The orientation featured a series of informative discussions designed to equip participants with the knowledge and standards essential for quality research. Marilyn C. Acob, MBA, CPA, LPT delivered the opening remarks and statement of purpose, while Flordeliza C. Gecobe, PhD, LPT provided an overview of the Revised Research Manual. Engr. Carlo JD D. Melegrito discussed the Research Ethics Manual, emphasizing the importance of ethical and responsible research practices. Tyronne Marcial V. Lopez, LPT, MST introduced the Research Planning and Analytics Services (RPAS) Manual, highlighting the role of proper data management and statistical analysis in producing credible research. Kristian Cesar C. Ollier, MBA, LPT concluded the session with a discussion on Research Publication, encouraging participants to strive for research that creates meaningful academic impact.

The orientation was further enriched by inspiring reminders from the speakers. Participants were encouraged to embrace every revision as an opportunity for growth, reflecting the message that “Major revision is not a rejection—it is an invitation to earn the acceptance.” They were also reminded of the deeper purpose of research through the quote by Helene Deutsch: “After all, the ultimate goal of all research is not objectivity, but truth.”

Through these discussions and insights, student-researchers, advisers, and panel members gained a unified understanding of the institution’s updated research protocols, reinforcing CBMA’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation in research.
