The program opened with a prayer, the national anthem, and a welcome address from ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐š ๐†. ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง, who encouraged students to take the message of the orientation โ€œ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ, ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐โ€ as they begin their journey in BSHM.

The orientation continued with the BSHM video presentation and faculty introduction, followed by discussions on the ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆโ€™๐ฌ ๐ ๐จ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐จ๐›๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ led by ๐Œ๐š๐š๐ฆ ๐€๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐Œ. ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐š๐ฉ๐จ.

Student activities and programs were also introduced to help enrich their college experience.

The program concluded with an ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฆ, giving students the opportunity to raise questions and clarify concerns.

In her closing remarks, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐š ๐Œ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ซ๐š, DHM faculty, reminded the freshmen that they are not alone in this journey. Carrying the ๐€๐๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐“๐ข๐ฆ๐ž theme, DHM students participated in the opening activities alongside the university community, marking the start of another academic year through student performances, program showcases, and various activities.

As part of the ๐€๐’๐„๐€๐ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, DHM represented ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐ข, with students showcasing their creativity through their assigned character, ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐•๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ง, and their program booth.

DHM placed ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ, while its Cosplay secured ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, adding to the department's celebration during the opening.
Beyond the competition, Jumpstart 5.0 provided DHM students an opportunity to reconnect, welcome new members of the department, and begin the academic year with camaraderie and enthusiasm.

With a new academic year underway, the DHM community looks forward to another year of learning, service, and shared experiences.
